You can't SP farm at level 8. The highest mastery gap you can have is 8 and then you don't have any skills. Get your first elemental skill and do quests and kill monsters at your level until you get higher, then you can think about SP farming. The goal is to be level 16 with your highest mastery at 7 for a -9 difference. THEN you go kill things fast for good SP.

I really think that the effectiveness of SP farming at 16 really depends on your build. It seems that Bladers/Glavers benefit more from farming at bandits than Archers/Nukers. Why Bladers/Glavers? Well because they dont have to run TO the mob with a bow here. Like someone else said in another post, the point of farming at bandits is cus of the rapid killing speed. Grab a good bow, and you can literally stand in one spot and kill all the mobs around you as the spawn is almost nonstop. Most farmers here use that 'auto-attack' trick to make farming easier. Just place the 'attack' icon in the autopot slot, and set it to 100%. All you have to do is click on the mob, and it'll auto attack. So all you're doing is basically clicking monsters

As a Nuker, I SP farmed some at bandits (9gap till bandits were blue), and the SP I got there lasted me till about level 30. Majority of the rest of my SP came from farming at Shades. I really think its more beneficial for Archers/Nukers to farm the majority of thier SP at Shades. There are plenty of 'good' Shade spots where a number of them spawn all around you at a rapid pace. Like the idea of farming at bandits camp, one can just stand in the middle of the Shade spawns and shoot/nuke away. Not to mention you get to level up a little rather than stay at lvl 16, so at least you can have some fun in leveling up. Also, level 50 drops will always be better than level 16 drops

Hey regaridng your sp farming at shades, how much do u get there? Also, do u keep like 9 gaps or? Cuz i doubt a 9 lvl gap could kill shades easily without a good wpn? Or?

You're very true. If you were playing this game as a newcomer, you'd get killed everytime at lvl 20 once you get a job in Asian countries like Korea for example. High leveled people there love to kill newcomers in the game. Unlike us who have users who help out newbies.

He's saying if you choose a job at lvl 20. It's logical to choose a job later, but most get it early because grinding is monotonous as always.

You say that like getting level 20 skills takes a lot of SP, but it doesn't, so having up to date skills at that level wouldnt be hard.

You shouldn't use any SP until level 10. It got me more SP and level difference wasn't tremendous (only 1 level) than any of my buddies who got skills at level 5 and lost the 9 gap midway and regained it at lvl 16.

I wont talk about "gap" here, but I will talk about balance.
say you have 0 mastery, and level 9. that will give you a 100% SP balance, getting you alot more SP than XP.

having level 1 mastery, at level 10, would get you a 90% SP to 10% XP balance ratio. which do you think is better?

a VERY VERY good means of farming, is to get a good, (i mean, Seal of star wont cut it if its under +4/+5). lvl 8 bow. and kill the HELL out of the stone ghosts in chi'n tomb at level 8-10, then delvl.. keep doing this. you'll get 1 SP per 2 kills, probably an even better ratio, and you wont be KSed as much ( think stronghold ). this only works well for pure strenght characters though, as you need to have a decent base attack due to lack of imbue.

I just started this game a week ago and I have a lvl 20 Blader, 22 Glavie (both have 0 gap since lvl 1... ) I didnt know about SP Farming so I made another glavie lvl14 atm with 1500SP.

Thing is... I lvled my blader and glavie to 20+ within 2 days. And my glavie is lvling faster compared to my new glavie that was SP farming when it had 4-5gap.

My lvl 22 glavie doesnt have problem killing at all...wouldnt it be best If I just lvl to 30+ with 0 gap since lvl 1, THEN SP farm all the SP i need?

You get to higher lvl faster then farm SP and have fun... by getting good item drops right?

My glavie is killing whites easily for around 500xp each. I do use alot of HP/MP potions though

SP farming is never a neccesity, but it helps.

if it isnt a neccesity tell me how i can get both light and fire lvl 32 nukes without farming omg that wub be so awsome

I get 1 SP per 2 kills at level 16. However, the spawns on tomb (the one down south) is just as good as Bandit spawn. Bandit stronghold is pretty empty on Greece server.

Im newb in this forum.. but im not game(Athens)..

I farmed for 1 months at stronghold in bandit camp.. bandit acher is my best friend there.. with DE Lv16 i get 277sp per kill and Lv17 256sp per kill. So.. within 3 hours DE.. i manage to get around 2500sp-3000sp per day.

After DE hour finish.. i'll go delvl at DW help by my other char(2pc). Its totally easy and auto if u know the delvl skills.. so delvl 2lv will take appro 15-25 minutes.

30++ days i farming at bandit camp, everyday met the same player ther
(X_man,MisKora,Oceana,__riki, juliusceaser and ++++) <--- xman hardcore farming he got about hundred thousand k sp... well..i jus managed to get 70K (in 30+ days)

so now.. im lvl 41 (7 gaps)... remaining sp = 71K.. and i'll farm(with DE) till lvl 47 with 9 gaps get around 70K-90K sp.. total will be about 150K.

Ok it is possible to kill ujijis and mujjiaslfd's in 2 hits. Im a lvl 46 int light spear. Now at 44 i was 2 hit killing them monkeys. A nuke and a ghost spear prince. So i do not know what your talking about not 2 hitting. Also i get about 1.2 sp per kill with a gold ticket. In a 3 hour period i got about 1.3k sp. so dont tell me you can't farm at that lvl and I only have a 3 lvl gap from my mastery.

what i dont get is why do people think that if you are sp farming theny cant even use 1 sp to up your skill instead of your mastery it dosent hurt you but only makes your attacks stronger

Have a lvl 61 full str fire blader starving for some sp right now. If i had know about sp farming earlier I would have farmed at least 50k sp then moved on with 2-3 lvl gap. I would still need to farm later on but not as much as I see facing me now

I have another character farming at the bandit camp. Thus far I have 41k sp and gunning for 100k before moving on. Probably farm some more at lvl 24 at horses and get some lvl 2 wind to sell in the meantime.
I have a 133 mag balance at lvl 16 btw and that fluctuates to 12x as I lvl. I never get to lvl 20 because I know someone will murder me. I have done many time so why wont they? Do you know how annoying sp farmers are?? Even a lvl 70 cant ks a sp farmer with a som bow.
I go from lvl 16 - 19 (99%) then delevel back to 16. I keep my mastery at 7 so I have 2 bow skills and my imbue.

For every two bandit archers I kill at lvl 16-18 I get 200+ sp. I kill archers in 2 hits with my sos bow. They spawn like 2 beside me every other second. You do the math.

P.S. Also make 100k gold every time I go farming and found 2 sos thus far.

I was wondering why people say that it is better to farm SP at a lower level, ie Lv 16. Is it because of the fact that you get a new weapon and can train at the bandit stronghold with almost instant spawns? The only problem with the stronghold is that there are lots and lots of people there. Well, I am 4x and currently killing white mobs. I get 207 skill experience per kill with only 1 mastery gap. That means only 2 kills per SP point. At Lv 16 you need 3-4 kills to get an SP point. So is there something here I am not getting?

i´m lv16-18 (i kep deleveling) and i get 325sp per kill with workers at ferry.
so... =P.

With no GT i gt to the 10k sp in 1 week.
