I know last Sunday I said I would have it finished by now... but this week sucks and I don't feel like doing anything.

I'll finish it... "soon".

To the sp farming for clerics, I'm a lvl 21 cleric/Bard and i have full skills and much sp over. There is an easy trick u can use. Just ubgrade ur mastery lvl every 4 lvls bacause u just get new skills every 4 lvls. With that methot i have easy both trees (Brad and cleric) maxed for my lvl.

A stray thought:
Some of these Guides are way outdated, and haven't been updated for more than a year; certainly, SRO has changed quite a bit since then, not only with the addition of Euro, but with a variety of new skills such as the Snow Shield that completely changes everything about certain builds than what it used to be.

I was digging through some of these Guides the other night, trying to find a good Bow Guide, and realized that there really weren't any. Even Hellsharpt's guide is outdated (the last edit being in August of '06).
Meaning, if a person new to SRO, and new to SRF came looking for a Guide on how to build a Bow, or a Glavie, or a Spear, etc., and they followed some outdated Guide, and then realized at Level 50 that they shouldn't have...
Well, then there are some serious consequences there. Got all the way up to 45 as a Pure STR Glavier, because they're "the best build in the game." Then they go and PvP and get one-hit by a Wizard. They go back to SRF to check their Guide, and realize that it was written in February of '06.

Sorry if I'm not making much sense. But I think that at the very least, we should note which Guides are updated to the present, and which aren't.

honey, idk how much time you have on your hands... but if you find some time,
could you link us to the guides that are really outdated? we will then contact
the creators and see if they are still active enough to update it to the current
cap/skills/euro stuff.

yeah you make a good point here.. it's the same with nuker guides.. many of them are outdated. But then again so much changed and with the rumors of 90 cap comming soon it's imo barely worth making a guide cause there are like 1 or 2 options to every build. So making another guide that says excactly the same as the next is pretty pointless.
And besides the euro-update has complicated the game (when you don't have time to read up). I just don't want to give ppl advice about stuff I do not entirly understand myself.

I think that marking the guides which are pre-euro-update is the best option here, so new players will at least know what to use.

Sure. Here you go:

Slightly out-of-date: In most instances, these haven't been updated since the Euro patch & skill updates, and lack some vital data.

A Lethargic Lizard's Guide to INT Builds - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=25695
Megaman's Glavier Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=26105
Flexo's Spear Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=39786

Way out-of-date: Most of these Guides haven't been updated since the middle of '06. This could pose a few problems - not only will it not have up-to-date data, but some of the information in these Guides may be totally incorrect in today's SRO with all the changes that have happened since they last updated them.

Im_On_56k's Glavier Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=3866
Cuchulainn's Blader Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=4676
Alfred's Healer Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=7783
Hellsharpt's Bow Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=7969
Tour Guide's Bow Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=5044
LadyB's Bow Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=31997
SuicideGrl's Hybrid INT Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=1746
[SD]MasterWong's Spear Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=24759
stimmedcow's Spear Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=9864
Kitary's Hybrid Sword Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=7853
MKaaru's Sword Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=12307
RaikiRii's Sword Guide - http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=7492

I'm pretty harsh, I know. Sorry. :( When I'm looking for a Guide, though, a lot of them are out-of-date. The only way I know that is because I look at the top, and then at the bottom to see when it was last edited. A person new to SRO and new to SRF might not know that, and he might proceed to do what the Guide is telling him to do. What he doesn't know is that the Guide was written in February 0f '06, and times have completely changed.
I think we need to put some requests out to get some up-to-date Guides. We don't really have any all-conclusive Bow Guides, Spear, or Glavie Guides. The ones that we do have either are out-of-date, or only cover a certain aspect. Caseyd4 has the only really up-to-date Bow Guide; however, his Guide is pretty limited in the fact that it only addressed STR Hybrids. So in reality, if a person was looking for a Bow Guide for, say, a 70:70, or a Pure STR, we don't have any that are up-to-date. The same goes for Spear and Glavie.

Most of the Euro Guides are great.
There are also some Guides that I don't like - not because they're not up-to-date, but because they're hard to read. Also, most of the ones that are hard-to-read have some inaccuracies in them as well.

Just my two cents. :]

immortalize me on that page of yours with this pretty one right here, read it through and you'll understand

lightning and cold are overrated for the 90 and 100 cap, people shouldn't be dropping fire but still keep lightning as a sub mastery while maintaining fire as their main force mastery

A little question about the BARD.

If she have skills to gain MP in a party it would be a good idea to use heavy gear?

if not...why not?

as far as we know, the skillcap will stay 300.

someone with 80heuks/80fire/80light/60ice will not stay on a 10gap -.-
that guy will end up with 90heuks/90fire/90light/20ice or something.
there is such a thing as deleveling your skills.

Well I've just been wondering do people mostly play chinese race? Because most of the builds are all chinese and a few europeans. Im just wondering if that means there are more chinese players or there just better?

Im thinking of switching to euro. Because I hear it's easier to farm and play. Yet still fun. So is chinese but I hate farming and only got 6m to power level.

Don't know if I should post this here because im new to the forums but please answer reply back on the forums if your aloud if not a message is fine
