You mean "gap"? It depends on how much SP your build consumes, what are the masteries you are planning to go for the cap*?

What do you mean by "a good farming at 42"? Eh, at any level where you get a new degree weapon (32,42,52,64,76...), it's good to farm if you manage to get a SoX weapon. You'd need a 9 gap however to actually farm. I'm not sure if you have really understood what SP farming and etc means.

*cap = maximum level, which is level 100 right now, in case you don't know.

Continue this 8 level gap ratio from level 30 to 36 or 37. At which point you should have over 20K SPs and MORE THEN enough to stop the madness of SP farming. Have fun with a super powerful character from level 37 onward!

So, while reading this guide i see many people differ from this method. Some say they will "de-level" (and which seems it's PITA and slow) and continue getting SP until they have 40-100k SP, unlike in the guide.

My new character is Lvl 15 now, and i'm thinking these both "methods". Seems that this "de-leveling" -path will take that little joy from the game .

How much SP is enough ?. Should i sell my life and farm 100k or am i going to be just fine if i decide to follow this guide ?.

Also; anybody willing to explain this "de-leveling" to newbie ? .

It'd depend on your build. This guide is rather outdated, I wouldn't suggest you to follow it. What build are you planning to go for? Calculate it here: http://nivlam.igamelegit.com/ or here: http://www.rev6.com:82/nivlam/ . In any of these sites you can calculate everything you need (Build SP, SP Gap, etc). I'm not going to enter into much detail here anyways, if you need help just ask. The site is pretty self-explanatory anyways.

i looked at a sp calculator and when i was finished it said that i needed 5 000 000 sp how is it even possible to get that much skillpoints

not nearly enough to raise any skills for any char.

http://nivlam.rev6.com/ says 900,000 or so to 120. For most Chinese it's 3-4 million maybe more, for Euro 800k bare minimum usually more, 1.5 million for sure.

I would say a lot of people still do the ong farm then delevel then farm again to ease the gapping. I 4-gapped to level 72 and only have 32k SP so still have to farm at higher levels to be fully farmed.
