Glaive / Fire full str

Post by Naur »

Hi,

i'm lvl 18, glaive / fire user and full str.

I wold like to know if its recomendable to have a second magic (eg light or fire) or another maestry with weapon (like bow).

If not of these are recomended, does my PJ need to farm SP points?

THX!

It depends on how many spear skills you want. More than 1 or two, and you run the risk of running out of mastery levels (Since fire/glaive/other all maxed would be 180/300, and that's without ANY skills) If anything, grab a couple passives, like mind concentration and force increase. They won't be anything big, but a couple dodge here and a couple mp there really help out in the long run.

You can have a maximum of 300 points in masteries, which means that with a level cap of 60, you can only max 5 trees (fire, cold, heuksal, etc.) If the level cap is later changed, you will be limited to less trees. More important, however, is the skill point limitations.

Skills cost Skill Points (SPs), and if you plan to max out an entire skill tree (such as fire) you'll need a certain amount of SPs to do so. Every additional tree that you wish to max out or build will take additional SPs. Maxing three threes will take a significant number of SPs, so it's better to save SPs by not building skills you won't use, or by focusing on two skill trees instead of three or more.
