Everyone will SP Farm forever now?-the effect of Elements

Post by doplertin »

Do you think everyone now will SP farm by levelling to level 14 and then staying at a 9 level mastery gap from then on?

The reason I htink so is the elements system. Elements makes it easy for low levels to earn a lot of money.

So going out there to "farm" is now not so boring and cannot be called "farming" because you actually get paid a lot for your effort. So people now run around actually picking up all the raw materials.

If this is so then every level 20 -30 from now on will have absolutely maximum SPs. And this means all the current crop of Lvl 50-60+ players bascially cannot bea tthe new lvl 20s coming up?

This is because the new guys will have heaps more SPs?

is my reasoning correct you think?

I will never SP farm by deleveling, and I have made a few alt characters.

As for you comment about the new crop 'beating' the existing player base the answer is no. By the time the 20-30's hit 50 the 50's will be at 70 and no way will a 50 ever beat a 70, no matter now many skills they have.

Once the people are in the 70's they can SP farm (what else is there to do) which means they would match the number of skills the others have by the time they reach 70 (providing the cap isn't raised by then).

Lastly going for 20-40 isn't that hard when comparing going from 40-70. The periods without quests and the lame amount of exp per completed quest (9%) makes the move to each higher level more difficult.

In my opinion the people that farmed at low levels are already on the verge of being burned out, while the regular player isn't and therefore is more likely to stick with it.

Needing elements has motivated me to grind even when my ticket is expired.

Alot of our 52+ levels are all STR. We all need wind 2. The best stones (STR, strikes, courage, etc) all need wind 2 / wind 3.

And we don't get any.

Were barely scraping by, and buying wind 2 / 3 from anywhere we can. Its horrible.

Sonars drop wind 2 and 3, but like '1' unit. Nothing like some which drop '4' units.

On the other hand we've made some real nice shiz lately ^^

solidice made his 54+3 sos earings 5 STR

Yes, 5.

You realize how many items I'd have to break to do that?

Each of the stones we need takes 118-205 wind elements.

Stones which fail.

However, I'm up to +22 strength. Not bad.

i know but it's most expensive to buy elements most of the time because they want like 500 a piece while for buying some item you could get like over 10 items to like 3X even if it's headgear for the price of 1X a single element ,oh well choose as you want.

yeowas and black robbers drop stuff that has them. I have to say this is another reason I'm glad to have lower levels in my guild. I'd much rather pay them than some random for the materials.

Aye, well I also have two white rings as well, that need STR and cold reduce.

If I can get more STR on those, I can be at +24 or 28 strength.

The earings got 3STR from the tablet, but only 5% cold reduce. So I might re-do the cold.

So I need 5 stones with wind. If none fail of course.

@TOPIC

Botters will get the most elements; not the SP farmers.
