Sp farming delevel question

Im almost lvl 17 now and Im a pure str. I was thinking of putting all my stat points into str when I reach lvl 17, but my question is:
Will the stat points in str be lost once I delevel back to lvl 16?

thats so weird

so if the STR/INT points and the SP Points all stay and only xp points are removed, then if you delevel and level again and again u will get an awesome unbeatable character?

No. When you level back to 17, you will not be able to spend those already spend stat points.
