full INT using a bow at lvl 24 ... ?

what problems are there...i aint goin with a bow forever...only until i get my nukes at lvl 30...then im movin toO sword&shield...

just wanted toO know any problems with it...cause i've suddenly liked usin a bow but im pure int XD

from what i understand: you don't have the defence, your crits arn't as powerful, your dmg is med [ it is a bow ]

Lol, no problem... a lot of pure Ints use bow before lvl30 and them change to S+S or Spear when they get the nukes...

well, playing with a bow is fun, your 350% strongbow will probably outdmg your 250% nuke because my 280% soul spear soul does around 200-300 less dmg than my nuke. the only problem is that the dmg isn't as high as the spear, or even a sword at times, fun to play, but poo at pvp lol. Sword is nice for a nuker cuz of the shield but at lower lvls it lacks dmg compared to spear... sword usually takes 2 nukes or 3 hits to kill a mob ur lvl, spear takes about 1 nuke or 2 hits, im talking about SoS here... but as a spear it is very hard to stay alive against more than 3 monsters at a time unless you wipe out 1 or 2 of them when they get to you. Your choice really

Bow gives the fastest leveling at lower levels so it's perfect to level from 1-30 until you get your nukes, then ditch it.

When I make my nuker, I'm gonna go sp farm until 32 with bow, then ditch bow for spear and level with no gap. Then farm again at nachals

nice info...but i aint goin toO put any skills on bow...
just usin it toO lvl up until i get me nukes =D

I would use a spear until 52..IMO.

As long as you have a *nice* bow, >= +3/ SoX for your level, then you will be fine. The problem always comes when you don't have weapons at least 2 levels above the monsters you are killing.

And don't level up the bow skills

I made that mistake on one of my chars, so now I have a L29 Full Int Bow Lit/Force/Bow and need ~10M and 30 potions to *fix*. Might be deleting that char...

In other good news, my L29 Pure int fire/lit nuker just needs to get to 30 and can learn fire and lit nukes right away

The only problem that I've seen with doing that though, is that bows are expensive as heck, so if you have the funds, go for it. Otherwise you might wanna do a spear which is more affordable.
