SOOO CONFUSEDD!! Rouge/Cleric or.. Rogue/Bard help!!

Umm title says it all. i have about 400k sp right now i've been pfarming. i still dont know what i want to be i know rogue for sure. but about sub class im not sure. i know that my friend is making a 2h warrior and he gonna be cleric. so should i be bard? but i see video that rogue/cleric can tank pretty good. with rogue/bard will i be able to tank at all or die in one hit all the time? helpp pleaseee

Well, you just said it. With a cleric sub you can tank quite a bit more. Perhaps take on 1 giant (if you're not getting mobbed). I'm a rogue/cleric myself and love it.

Although I have to say that I think that Bard is the true subclass of a rogue. It complements the rogue build in what it does best --> stealth.

The only reason I took cleric is that I want to take on giants sometimes, just for the fun of it. If you don't really care about that aspect I think you're better of with bard.

If you read some topics on the forum you would find out that Rogue/Cleric is superior to Rogue/Bard in most situations,except for in solo grinding on general mobs.

Subclass bard useful skills that stay after weap switch,

Holding clamor-Binds for 10 sec(so i heard)
Moving march-Increases speed.
Noise-keeps general mobs and pt mobs from attacking first.

Subclass Cleric useful skills,

Bless-45 sec huge phys-mag def increase.
Recovery division-Heals a chunk of hp every 3-5 sec.
Heaven Flash-Binds a mob or player for 10 sec.
Healing Cycle/Orbit-Heals hp every sec for 16 sec.
Ressurect-Resses people,They will love u^^
Body Blessing-Phy def boost,stays on other players when change weap.
Thus is helpful in party's without a main cleric.

Speedpotion=buyable at grocery trader.

Thats all u need to know when making the choice.

Conclusion:

1.Bard-Lazy-man's choice for mediocre performance.
2.Cleric-Hardworkers choice for pWnage^^.

get the skill "look into guides first". It doesn't even cost sp. You only need a few mouse clicks and be able to read. Once you get the skill, you'll be able to get all your questions answered by looking at a comprehensive rogue guide in the guide section.

I'm a 45 rogue/cleric and even when solo grinding, it helps, because the recov. division is so helpful because were euro. . . I also have a 44 rogue/bard, dont like as much but the noise is useful.. it just helps on what you want it to be, its your char

i have a cleric/barb friend that can help me get buffs and stuff. so i just choose rogue/barb. HIT and RUN works fine

cleric on xbow in pve is kind of pointless...

xbow can tank giants of same lvl, and fight mobs 11 lvs higher at later lvls...

having cleric wont save you from a giant 11 higher than you, and fighting lower mobs you wont even get hit since they die before they can get close enough

Hmm, that might be a good point about the giants at later levels .

Anyway, if you only take xbow you should take bard, cause indeed, cleric ain't usefull (or at least hardly) for xbow.

Well in Solo PVe i'd say bard,
In party Pve I say Cleric.

In pvp,jobs,wars I say Cleric.Doesnt matter what build u are,bard is the worst subclass EVER for euro in pVp,jobs,war,all it gives is speed which can be bought by a speedpotion.

with xbow extreme on, i kill +9 lvl mob without taking any dmg from him!(from mob) My noise protects me from other mobs and moving march increase my lvling speed !

I have to agree

Cleric sub = Good for keeping you alive when you have to solo and very helpful as support to a partys cleric.(ex. if cleric needs pots or drops the party) You can pick up where he left off and keep grinding. Also will get your foot in the door for partys.
