Also my opinion is heavy armor, your a bit slower but there you have tha bard sub/movingspeed scrolls or potions for.

Since the most mobs are phys take heavy

PvE-wise: Heavy Armor is usually better than Light Armor, though the armor type really doesn't matter in good parties. Same thing applies for soloing: Heavy Armor will allow you to tank monsters a few levels higher easily and even higher with cleric sub-- although it's still achievable in Light Armor. Either way, you'll want to tank as much as possible, and Heavy Armor will allow you to do that easier than Light Armor (reverse that on magical monsters).

PvP-wize: Light Armor is better, considering that having the lowest magical defense (if you're not a 1h, that is) makes you extremely vulnerable against nukers. Only reason you'll want to use Heavy Armor is if you are exclusively countering STR-based builds.

To sum it up, Light Armor is better overall for both PvP and PvE.

I also didn't know what to wear at first.. stick with Heavy Armor id say.. Cause most mobs are phy % and you won't have problems getting killed :) if your 80 you could try Robes for extra mag defense cause Light Armor still has to less mag defense since your full str.. but if your cleric sub I find that overall PvE/PvE with Heavy Armor is good with Bless Spell/Mana Skin but its always nice if you can afford 2 sets 1 for PvE (Main/Heavy Armor) and 1 for PvP (Light Armor/Robes) but again.. stick with Heavy Armor.. i'm lvl 63 and I have no problems ^^

heavy armor for pve against physcical attack monsters, and for pvp against euro full str.

light armor for pvp against chinese (because they have mag and phys damage in all attacks less in the nukes) and euro full int.

Since people don't happen to mention this often I'll just shout it out. Mana Skin and Bless Spell have more Mag defense for a reason. Since Magical Damage is alot more damage it takes alot more defense to reduce it and thus the skills give more defense. It is why Heavy Armor gives more Magical Defense than Physical Defense. Really Iron + Mana and Bless Spell are the equivilant of going from a NPC Protector/Light Armor set to a really pimped Sun Protector/Light Armor set. Thus Robes is the best for 1H Sword and Dual Axe(Who have Phy Buffs) but, Light Armor is better for 2H Sword because it does not have any defensive buffs whatsoever. And that is for no matter the secondary.

eCSRO:
ilshootli- 81
Fembria:
iContagious - 81

ZSZC:
iPewPewUQQ - 63 Bower

Iris :
Star_L1ght - 59 Rogue/Warrior

You are full str. The strength gives you extra physical defense. But, compared to 1H sword and Dual Axe you do not have a Physical Defense Boost. So Protector would be the better choice because it gives both good Physical and Magical defense.

You do not need Heavy Armor because you already have plenty of Physical Defense. But most people take Heavy Armor because they think the higher extra Defense from Mana Skin and Bless Spell will help them for Magical damage. But the extra defense is on there because it takes MORE magical defense to reduce the magical damage to a reasonable amount. Thus making Armor with a higher magical defense better than Heavy Armor.

I can't give like actual examples cuz I'm not a warrior. This is for 2H Sword btw.

Heavy armor will get you far, just be careful of those wizards and sosun nukers. I personally have a set of heavy armors and a set of robes.

you can gets far with Heavy Armor.. you will have no problems dealing with phy/mag mobs, and a set of robes at a higher level like above post says would be nice for PvP. and yes light armor does give extra mag defense and it does makes a difference in taking magical damage, maybe you will not die as fast as if your wearing Heavy Armor but still.. Heavy Armor does great :D
