Best Weapon for lightning?

I want my character to be wicked fast, (speed kills) lol. What weapon is best suited for lighting use?

I was also thinking about going Blade, Pure STR, and ice. Or Glaive, Pure STR and Fire.

I want to be strong mostly in PvP, because thats where the fun is. But not a total pushover in PvE.

Spear gives highest magical (i.e. lightning) damage possible.

unfortunatly for you and for me(lvl 32 lighting user) lighting skill doesnt make you atk any faster in reality. you can easily get grass walk which make you run faster, but that is about it. if there is a difference i cant really see it. as for fastest weapons in has to be blade/sword with bow being a close second.and dont forget, with speed you sacrifice damage. my buddies swing their glaive once for every 3-4 hits i make... but they are doing over 1k damage per hit.... so it is a style choice: do you want to load u and swing for the kill or dance around doing crazy sword techniques? i personally prefer doing spins and flips with my blade:)

the thing i love about swords and blades though is that if you have a high crit rating, you'll hit it 3-5 times a fight depending how long it is.. and yeah the spear hits real hard but your shield can block it.. it it does you would have gotten 7-8 hits in for his 1
