Force for a 70:70 Bowman

Post by veddar »

I have just started this char, but i have played other builds in silkroad before.
Im a 70:70 bow. I wanna know whats best:

Fire as main and light as sub (for buff). Fire imbue
Light as main and ice as sub. Light imbue.

Im afraid that if i use fire (imbue) and light (buff) i would lose much def.
help pls :)

Hmm...think it's flip coin. Just choose the one you like. With the 70/70 build you can go either way...

Well, I don't have a high lvl 70/70 bower, so I might not be the best man to answer this question, but my personal opinion would be:

Fire, lightning and take armor.

You could also go fire, ice and and use protector or even garments, but I would use the fire. Mainly because this also gives you a physical damage boost and a stronger imbue.

80 pacheon 80 light 80 ice 32 fire (mostly for the phy dmg buff, 5% + 3% passive)

You got several options...First at which cap are you talking about?

Well let's consider 90 cap for now..

2 options:
90 ice/light/pacheon 30 fire (actually 32 fire)
or
90 light/90 pacheon/60 fire/60 light

the first on is kinda more defencive, since you'll proberly max frost nova (and imbue? and the passive+ice buff. You'll have a longer phantom+more running speed
The second one is for maximising damage. A higher fire level will give you more phy % increase, tus more power. (and you'll have higher mag defence)

in both cases this build should NEVER use armour...You're really gonna be a sitting duck for nukers (they would 1-2 hit you without snow shield on)
Garment or protector, which one you prefer...

Im using the first one, and it's great (currently using garment to compensate the loss of mag defence bcz of your low level fire.)
Although without my (34% at the moment) snow shield I find myself having a hard time against str glavies for example.

Choose what fits your playing style :)
*edit* Also I have the first build becease I like the hit and run tactic

Protector is always fine for this build :) remember that

Well, at the moment IAM doing a dual imbue build (both lightning and ice) and I really like it

Well, you should have atleast have a ice level of 50 (when you get there) to use a snow shield...it benefits this build so much, you can't consider taking no ice at all
If you want to use fire as main, that's good too (with fire imbue ofcourse)

You could hit for this build then:
90 fire, 90 pacheon, 70 lightning/ 50 ice (or 60 lightning 60 fire)
This is all ofcourse for the 90 cap...

Err, ice just have to be around level 50, so that won't cost you that much...Up it later when you can spare the sp
Lightning has to be 70, the other ones both 90...Just keep yourself running on a 3-4 gap and farm in the 60ies (or whenever you want to farm)....You'll be fine :P
