would a warlock be best for thief, hunter, or trader? please add anything you think would make it good for the job from experience

Im hunter and it works great. Thieving was lots of fun too but there wasn't anyone to thief :\

Warlock would be able to do any of the jobs with equal effectiveness. Its up to your preference which job you enjoy doing the most.
