The more you play the more you begin to realise how much you fouled up lol
From what I've read it seems that your best to either go full STR or full INT, INT works best up to level 40 but after that the monsters can kill you very easily because you'll lack the HP to withstand a string of attacks and if you lag your going to die, so full STR seems to be the wisest choice.
Then maybe a glaive with fire for maximum damage, lightning is good but it attracts everything it touches and gets you mauled quickly and again if you lag it can be annoying.
Another thing I read today was that the amount of exp you get from kills depend on the difference between your player level and mastery level, the closer they are to each other the more exp you get, the further apart they are you get loads of skill points instead. If you want to absolutely be the best on this game according to the Korean best players you have to farm skill points at the start until you get to 30,000 skill points which is all you'll ever need. Then you advance through the game using your skill points to keep you as strong as possible, also because you have all the skill points your can keep your player and mastery levels equal so you rake in maximum exp as well and advance as quickly as is possible.
You may already know all this but I found it all very interesting.
Whichever is higher I think, I think if your weapon is 9 and your force is 10 then it's 10 that is counted, if your player level is 19 and your mastery is 10 you'll get tons of skill points and small amounts of exp, if they are both much closer or on the same level you'll get tons more exp and less skill points.
So the idea when you first play the game is to get 1000's of skill points and then play the game using the skill points to keep all your levels equal for maximum damage/exp.
I think I'll try it out with a new character when the game comes back on lol
wow i never new this but this is what i did, well it is a long story, becuase when i was a noob i didn't know about stat point and how they boost ur str or int. so i never used it becuase of this i was fighting monsters constantly hoping to get stronger. i did this till about lv16, then 1 day i was just clicking around checking all the feature then i went to the place that showed ur stats, then i clicked it and i saw that it made my hp increase, and that how i became pure str. all of a sudden i can kill mosters that were very high and i was very happy
while i was doing this killing of moster to get stronger i got a lot of skill point so i was now able to keep up with get my skills every time i lv'ed up.
very funny i know

Would that process include deliberate death to lower levels in order to kill the lower mobs again with little effort to gain more points or has that just blurted out as senceless rant?
Started a new char after the xian rollback and now i wanna start again AGAIN!
All your paintshop are belong to nightbloom.
TheEMPIRE ftw
I really have no idea but you could only kill the really low level monsters for so long before they become worthless so maybe your right yeah deliberate deaths would work cos you don't lose sp points when you die do you?
so if you were to say... lvl til lvl 10 and then make masteries as high as possible then die a bunch of times back to lvl 5 (the lowest you can dia and lose exp) you will have a 5 lvl buffer worth of skillpoints coming towards you. Makes me wanna start again to try it -_-;;
why couldnt i be so wise at the 200% increase event

But at a high level you would need some form of skill mastery + skill behind you to swiftly kill an enemy without taking forever. This way you can just pop mangyangs like tic tacs then go out and get yourself killed back to low level.
I dunno until the game opens up again i cant prove this theory but it has me wanting to try...

i got to lv 24 when i heard about SP farming and i kinda think its a bad exploit which they should fix i know its stated in the guide but 1 im too lazy to start over and i really dont have the time now that the double exp is gone. lvln up at lv 28 is a pain right now it takes forever but i just couldnt start at square one again.
You dont NEED to do any of them...
It just helps to lvl if you got a reason to do it. Not to mention the nice little sp and exp kicker for your effort.

Gotta admit tho. If there wasnt a quest id be killing more interesting subjects than the 23,946,289,362 ghost bugs im doing right now to get 150 damn eggs...

yeah i understand it more fun, but am also saying because i hate some monster for example earth ghost. they just annoy me with the sound they make, so when i was doing their quest at 27 i feel that i will get something for doing this.
but i understand what ur talking about.
