broken quest? (tiger hunting)

I followed the map on <a href = "http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=197"> this post </a> to find tigers for the lvl 13 quest. and i see PLENTY of tigers, but killing them doesnt causet he quest log to change...or the counter to notify me that i'm fulfilling quest requirnments.

from now all all references to quest objectives will be in perfect case form, the only plurals im going to include will be wrapped in [ ] tags, to show how the wording inthe game is....cause this is ocnfusing me

i need to kill 1 tiger champion, 20 tiger['s], 20 tiger young['s]

now i have killed plenty of Tiger['s], and I have certainly commited genocide on Young Tiger['s], but ive seen no tiger['s], nor have I seen any tiger young['s]...

im wondering is this a broken quest? maybe the difference in naming conventions is confusing the quest log... or are there properly named tiger['s] running around somewhere that I havent seen...

are you sure you're not doing another tiger quest at the same time? you can't do two different tiger quests, let alone any of the same monster quests, at the same time.

like if you were to collect the tiger's teeth for a quest, and another quest to kill whatever champions, whatever tigers, and whatever youngs ones, you can only complete one of the tiger quest, then begin to work on the next tiger quest.

many thanks, thats it... not 5 minutes after writing did this tiger molars start dropping (i knew i was on 2 quests, but i didnt know they conflicted like that. i guess the game is doing the tiger molar quset first)

My Tiger quest is broken...

I have completed part 1 and got the reward.

now when I ask general for the next one the choices are

1. Tutorial
2.

thats right !.. it blank
And if I accept it it is blank still.

And I kill tigers and youngs, etc... but counter doesnt move??

this ocmes up a lot. so heres help.

there are two tiger quests, the tiger competition and the tigers grinding teeth.

Tigers grinding teeth.

you can aquire the teeth from Tigers, and young tigers, even giants. but they must be orange tigers.

this quest always overides the tiger competiton quest, so do it first.

tiger ocmpetition quest. this is repeatble three times.

the first time it says kill the following important! :in your quest list they are show in this order, the second and third repeat change!

20 young tigers
20 tigers
1 tiger champion.

the second and third repeats have a '0.' for everything

but

collect the followin for the 2nd

2 champion tigers
20 tigers
20 young tigers

for the 3rd

4champion tigers
20 tigers
20 young tigers.

i did this quest a long time ago so forgive me if im wrong on the young tigers.

the most important thing to remember is that young tigers and champions switch places on the repeats in your quest window

even though it has a '0.' you can stil ltell if its ocmplete by it saying so, if you kill the said amount and its not completed, keep killing them until it does, and it doesnt hurt to keep killing all three types!

this problem has been addressed elsewhere

you actually have to kill more than the original quest.

So instead of 20 young tigers its now 40
so just kill everything remotely tiger like and keep an eye in your quest menu to see when a specific area is completed.

once you clock the quest a floating "0" will appear on the notice similar to that as when you finished the original quest. Just because it hasnt been fixed or entered (whatever) it will just read as the negetive default value of 0 which was entered just to make the line appear.

if thats confusing ill dot point it.

-Quest isnt broken, its just not named
-Kill double what you did last time
-Look at your quest menu to see if you completed everything.

ahhhhhh makes sense. i was just about to give up killing them and move on to 200 bowman... guess i'll go back to tigers

Tiger quest problem alr fixed in current date patch. is still read as 0 but the counters are readable now.

thought I did do a search for this before posting , but nothing I found answered as well as you guys have this time round..

I gave up on the quest and am doing the black tigers and white tigers quest atm ( I finnished the 200 bowmen and the first white tiger quest Best place for this was the BACK of the fort/compound... I had the place to myself practically so it only took a few hours and I did not have any morons KS my mobs

)
