Bow builds

Right now i am currently making a bow build and don't know which one to go with.
Vote on pole and explain why you chose it. (Would help if you explained how you would use the stat points.)

You could narrow your poll to either pure str, or 70:70 hybrid. Either build has its pros and cons, and most importantly, has been made, tested, discussed on, leveled up to cap, and guides available for these builds.

Pure int is fun for pve, just doesnt work as well for pvp (if bow is your only weapon mastery, not advisable to take two weapon masteries for 90 cap). Any other hybrid balance, you should expect to perform between the pure str, 70:70 hybrid, and pure int.

To summarise, choose between pure str or 70:70 hybrid, and you'll have enough data to guide you.

Pure STR:
Big Crits
A lot of HP
Good for PvP
Good for PvE
Able to use 20% Snow Shield

70:70:
Big overall damage
Good for PvP
Good for PvE
Faster Grinding
Able to use 40% Snow Shield
Able to use nukes

I think Pure STR is a better build overall, however if you want to have fun, then go 70:70

Whats the difference between 70:70 and int hybrid?

70:70 is an int hybrid, it does not mean 1 point str, 1point int.

My personal opinion on this is 70:70 works as well as pure str. Neither work that great in pvp, until very high lvl 7X.

So if they both work it just comes down to which works better for you.

Pure STR:
High HP

low average damage, with the ocassional crit that almost doubles damage output

Int hybrid
much higher average damage with critical damage similar to pure str

A lot less HP when not using snow shield. With snow shield effective hp is as good as or better than pure str. Snow shield lasts 2min and has a 1 min cool down.

Can use nuke for splash attack to speed up grinding, though it doesn't hit as hard as some weapon skills.

If you go to this site and click on the head icon you can get a pretty good idea on how you want your character.

First raise the character lvl and then distribute your stat points. You will see the hp, mp, and balances change just like in the game.

The more int you add the more damage you do. The more int you add the less hp you have. That is how this game balances to make it fair.

And just to make it more confusing, int/str ratio between pure str and 70:70 has been proven to work. (some people don't beleive/disagree with passion that they suck, but they work just fine) Bowers with more int then 70:70 are liked by some, but most people consider them hard to play with so little hp. So wha makes 70:70 such a popular build? Cause it seems like a decent balance in damage and hp, and it sounds cool. Its the "balanced build".

If you want more damage per hit and more magical defense then go hybrid str. Vis versa for pure str.

I was going for hybrid, but then they nuked strong bow so now I'm staying pure str for anti devil.

u missed out something for full str bow . with full str bow ur inventory get full often.at lvl 70+ u r still using medium potions.and u get a message insufficient mana.it happens often with + 0 int gears.in 24 str 6 int per 10 lvl build. u did not get this message.

no one has int+0 at 70+ lol u crazy guy, im sure even gold bots in talka have int on there gear from dropped gear lol
