is fire shield a necessity ?

i mean, negative effect on yourself can be nullified by universal pill, doesn't this makes fireshield somehow redundant and a waste of sp ?

lmao....when you are 69 go into Mask 2f P without fire shield lets see how good your universal pills do then.

It is still useful, as long as complete immunity isnt "fixed", or the buff doesnt disappear when you unequip shield (for non shield users). Very useful againts ice imbued/magic users. Put it simply, cold effects stutter your tempo when pvping, complete immunity negates this.

If you are low lvl and low on sp don't worry about it until you are52+. You can be immune to status with fire shield but you need 7d accessories.

It isn't a skill you need, but it will be useful when you go PvPing against Ice builds that are unaware of the skill.

Yeah I am pretty sure its 7D accessories. They allow you to have 20% reduce per accessory. That means that if you max all 7D accessories you have 80% reduce. That means you need just over 20% from fire shield. Thats less than lvl30

You activate the buff with a shield and then you can switch to your regular weapon.

If you are into trading/hunting multistars you really need to be ice immune. If you have 3ice npc theives on you they just cancel your attacks over and over. very frustrating. Even if you have pills 3+ npc will keep you nearly completely frozen.

Cleric can give you status immunity if you don't have it.

Again until you have the rings you will need pills and the skill will be useless to you.

it is necessary now.. but maybe not later for bow/glavie/spear users cuz they say that fire shield gonna dissapear when you have shield equipped and then change to weapon
