Okay what level max ice mastery do i need for full stre

Hi. i am a lv52 full stre glavier so far.

But i was wondering if i needed ice. I got lv20 ice for the novice shield because it reduces the damage i take.

But what level ice should i have to the max so it does not get in the way,

so far i got.

lv47 spear
lv45 fire
lv20 ice
lv43 lightning.

well your pure str so that means your physical defense if already good ...if i were you i would just get ice to maybe 30-35 and leave it there for a while..its not really a must to get ice if your pure str..

I saw a glavier running 30% snow shield, but I don't know if he was pure str or hybrid str.
All I can say is you can try upping it till you run out of mp. Make sure you have your mp pots at 60% or more and run the same size MP pots as HP pots.

You probably can get at least 25% snow shield.

Yea ice doesnt need to go too high... can you do me a favor? Make that sig smaller?

L30 is as far as I'd take it. Will give you good defense, but since pure str you'll have set your mp pots higher so your bar doesn't bottom out & leave you with no MP for skills.

at the current cap, it is pretty easy to distribute the mastery points. ice at lvl 80 now is the best solution, since you don't get that much advantage trough lightning after lvl 60. but at the comming lvl 90 cap, i think you have to leave cold at 30 or something like that, since you depend on the phantom of grasswalk and the parry increase of the lightning tree,
