Cleric/Warlock Help~ (High lvl Warlock/Cleric come please)

Post by Mocha* »

Hi~ My main is a Cleric.. I am thinking about getting Warlock as my sub and I'm wondering what skills I should get and what skills I can skip. I want to get enough Warlock skills to be able to use them effectively in parties/solo/pvp. I also want to know if I would need the HP leeching skill since I have heal already from my Cleric.

I know people will say "well why not max both trees?" Maxing both trees requires about 550k SP total.. that means I would have to have a 6 level gap all the way until lv 80 in order to be able to max all the skills/necessary skills in the Warlock and Cleric tree >.<. And the problem is that I don't want to farm that much.. (3-4 gap is okay for me) so please help :)

Overall Questions:

1. What Warlock skills should I get and what skills can I skip?
2. Is the HP leeching skill necessary since I already have Heal from my Cleric main?

I don't want to max the whole Warlock tree because that will take a lot of farming.

Thank you in advance~

This is a great guide, shows the skills thier effects. Also gives tips on using the build and how to be effective in party play.

Thanks I've read that guide already but it still doesn't answer my questions.

get all debufs beside physical raze and physical ravange, i would get the DoTs, stun, sleep, wheel bind and fog sight, leech skills are kinda up to u but they do cause absolute damage, and if ur gunna use it a lot blood flower, bloody trap, death flower(i think that is what it is called) and shadow armor, reflect, illusion.

if you are cleric as main i think getting debuffs/dots/sleep/stun are all that are needed

blood flower/leech/shadow armor arent useful if you try to fight as a cleric... they dont stay

and cleric attacks are stronger nukes than warlocks, so just defbuff/dot/switch back to cleric

ugh... but my cleric/warlock is only in 30s... so advice might not be best lol

well... if you want to "up" that support role then physical raze and physical ravange will be ok. DoTs are good as he says. leach skills are not absolute damage; however, the hp they absorb is. Get trap, it stays after weapon switch. Shadow armor, reflect, and illusion... as well as scream mask go away after you switch weapons. Stick to what stays on.

Warlock attks are stronger than cleric except for offering. But you want to have cleric as your main so don't be tempted with getting too much from the warlock tree.
