glaviers can kill without fancy weapons and STR on their armour though, and they can kill uniques 10 times better then bladers, that is what makes my decision so tough

4 s/s nuker : 4 bow : 3 spear nuker : 3 glaive : 1 blade

bladers are rare nowadays...glaivers are diminishing in numbers too compared to the past...thx to the new skills for nukers ( snow shield) and bowers

i don't give shit about killing TG, Uru or Isy but still killing LY would be mighty nice

but getting to that possible level might take some time using one of the str builds
but bladers kill in style, while glaviers kill with brute force, ifya no what i mean

alrite, ive tested both the bladers and glavie builds

glavie: levels pretty fast, youll be 20+ before you know it
you WILL be using soul spear-ghost spear over and over and over, later u get to use flying dragon-soul spear-ghost spear WHOOP DE DOO!!
u can add in the chains for some extra spice
1 ranged skill
USES A SHATLOAD OF MP POTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
chains are pretty cool i guess, and the passive is nice
not the cheapest build while not THAT expensive

blade: starts out slow, but once u got those chains and stuff, you a rawrin to go (it still levels slow)
skills are always fun to watch, good variety, 2 ranged attacks, ones AoE
can block
tanks a crapload of mobs
skills are cheap on the mp+tanking=waaaay less pots
i would say cheap build due to ^^

so, its flashy moves for slow leveling, or medium leveling for some ok moves

No glaiver lvl80 can kill a blader lvl80 *if a blader has any descent gears, and a glaiver has no sun glaive). I'd say vice verca, but I'll confirm when I hit 80.

I agree and even if the glaiver has an sosun it will still take them alot to kill you. Pretty much from my experience vs glaivers I will tend to do the most damage on attacks (without the debuffs) since the extra damage glaivers have is more than offset by the blader's shield.

But if you want my two cents on the build I will say I'm more than satisfied with the build since it's a build where death is hardly an issue. Also for anyone that gives you the typical "bladers cant kill" thing well from my experience bladers (who know how to actually play their character) can sure as hell kill, though it may take a while due to the fact they're not a damage dealing build, though the debuffs help alot too. With division and bleed on someone I can do KD crits that are at least 10k dmg or higher to other capped players.

-Impossible to kill, #1 tanker

Wrong .. or i should say : was correct ages ago .. now perfect blader die in 2~3 hits from wizard .. rogue also can do 16 k crit damge on blader .. 1 pure offering will finish 8 bladers at once shield is very good thing as it block .. but everybody can put blocking ratio in his weapon ... and if you speak about tanking a pure int s/s in armor with 50% snow shield can tank a lot better than blader with no snow shield .. only blader with ice imbue can be that tanker you imagine ( although a lot of people are immune ) .. and with cold you can't kill anything

-great in parties, is better overall then a 1H sword since these guys get their arses kicked by Mag. Mobs.

No .. totaly wrong ... in parties 1 handed tank better than blader with sun shield .. he have a lot of passives and buffs that make super def .. also warrior have perfect agrro .. blader don't have .. blader can't force monster to attack him instead of attacking int builds .. while mobs can't leave a warrior to attack anything .. a warrior in party mean saftey to all .. just look at 1 handed mastery and you will know ...

-a lot more fun to play then any other build once you got the flashy sword chains, i also heard that at higher levels one powerful chain is all it takes to kill a mob.

Yes fun to watch .. nice looking skills .. but you will get bored when you see all ppl KS you , all people kill faster than you .. all ppl lvl a lot faster .. and in pvp you will hate yourself that you can't kill anyone .. all int builds can use snow shield and go to have a coffee while you can't do even half of their HP .. only the last chain will be cool enough to give you fun .. but you will be bored too ..

-if used right can easily own any build in PvP

Man you don't feel what is blader ... he can't even 1 hit a wizard in robe ..

- can't kill uniques unless you use your KD wisely and there is not a lot of people trying to Ks you

you can't kill uniques ever ... uniques can't be KD or KB .. I always love to ks bladers +10 lvl than me with 1 hit of my crossbow from +27 m !! pure str bow and glavier can ks you too .. forget about uniques ..

Also old information but not wrong .. pure str glavier in garment will take more than 21 k damge from rogue crit .. and he die in 3~4 skills from hybrid chinese builds .. he can tank very well when he stun / KB .. but he have problem with ranged builds .. and he have better chance against wizards and crossbow and he he can kill them in 1 flying dragon ..

-does not get Ksed as often as a blader

he not ksed as blader but he still get too many ks .. all INT and hybrid builds will ks pure str glavier .. chinese bow will ks too .. and all euro builds will ks .. even 1 handed sword will ks as he can KD the monster ..

yes .. heuksal mastery need less sp ..

it's common between people that pure str glavier is the best PURE build for pvp ... may be they are wrong but i see that pure str glavier is a decent build

Glavie have more AOE .. he can solve range problem by going to agrro area with huge numbers of monsters you will find good number in your skills effect area at all time and you can make it fast ..

-if a blader/sword knocks down the enemy there's no way you can attack it, thats how skilled bladers Ks giants/uniques.

yes .. now not bladers only KD ... also warriors , and rogues can KD .. and they have more chance to kd .. in parties you may stay for 30 sec you can't make a complet attack because of all that KD .. JM should add a skill to heuksal that can attack enemies on the ground .. that's not fair as all str builds can attack the enemy on the ground ..

My advice to you is to make a hybrid glavier or blader , you will have less cons as you will get higher damge and can tank better in snow shield .. laso you will get more ranged skills as you can use nukes for example .. hybrid blader with snow shield is the elite tanker now .. only too few people did that build but it's logical to be better than str ..
