questions about crossbows

Is it true that crossbows can one hit monsters there own level? And because of there range, cant they just stay close to safe zones to PVP? so if someone is coming towards them they can just get back into the safe zone.

And with a sun +9 he can prolly 1 hits mobs of his own lvl. Else he can't!

I'm lvl 25, i can 1 hit monsters my level (and some lvl 26 mobs) with an NPC crossbow, if i don't one hit em i just have to use 1 normal attack to kill em, it's like 50/50 really.

I was about to say the same thing. I can't quite 1-hit with NPC crossbow, but I almost could...

Yup, with crossbow xtreme and Long Shot, i can 50% of the time 1 hit lvl 24-26 mobs. When i don't then only have a few hundred life left, and they die by a normal attack. But get your crossbow +2 or so and you can 1 hit them for sure.

With a regular +3 bow of your appropriate level you can almost 1 hit most monsters using extreme, sometimes even a few levels higher. And if not, either a wolf bite or a normal attack or a fast shot finishes the job. In terms of fast shotting it usually hits the same time as fast shot so it seems like a 1shot KO.

Remember that there are monsters that are weaker than they should be. For example, Ujigi and Mujigi have lower hp than monsters around their level, even lower HP than the spiders that are level 48. Yeti also have lower HP and so do sosungs in europe.
