Just out of interest which weapons skills do you get for this weapon? Cuz all the weapons have good and bad skills, like the spinning spear move where you just twirl it in your hands and is completely useless lol
Which is the sword skill that knocks the giants on their backs?

That sword skill which hits giants and any enemy down is a lvl 19 skill.
It has a 50% chance of knocking them down. Called the Blood Blade in the hidden sword series.
Then the skill which they use to stab them during their ground status is the next ability below it in the killing heaven series called the flower bloom blade.
This ability helps me fight off ksers
Though it makes me a kser myself ^^!

lol yeah it's really annoying when someone comes along and knocks your giant over so nobody else can get to it
Which other sword skills are worth using, like the standard small monster attack ones?
There's usually only 3 or 4 skills per weapons which people seem to get. I've never used a sword before and I was gonna have a little try with one tonight.

Hmmm...well I've been using most of the skills except the last one which has a 7 meter damage radius which says something about you controlling your sword and whacking enemies. My preferred skill for single monsters would be the very first one. Until you reach lvl 19. After I got those skills they became my number 1 skills IMO they do the most dmg for me. Then again you can also get the chain series, combos become very lethal in the later stages. They're fast and dangerous. And no I don't use the shield techniques they're the same as the spear spinning skill.
Though I found a use for it. The person using it can act as a meat shield xD

i love watching high level sword users.
some dude in a thief suit was running around killing traders solo and doing all sorts of flips and stabs and stuff draining much damage and getting heaps of shield blocks.
Would be so annoying to fight him!

Balance sword/force
I'm playing a lvl 12 with a balance build pumping sp into the chain series and into force skills, with some bow for hard pulls. I can rock multiples of anything my lvl or lower, and singles of things higher, mostly because I can pull off some quick/cheap heals with the force skills. Been reading on the suggested builds which seem like they could be fun, but this works for long hunting trips and I lvl relatively quickly.
