Leveling as Pure Int. Nuker

There has been a lot of S/S and Spear debates on the forums and I understand that S/S = Survivability with a little less damage and Spear = All offense.

I'm now lvl 28 with my pure int nuker and I haven't hit the nuking phase yet (lvl 30) So I was wondering if an experienced pure int nuker could share some thoughts on what my build should be for leveling.

Would I be weak like a euro wizard for leveling and be afraid of being hit even once, as a pure int spear?

I want to be able to one / two (shouts) mobs my level, is this possble with the latest SoS (+3) through out leveling with S/S or is the spear the only one with this power?

If anyone could answer one of these two questions it would be greatly appreciated!

actually a spear good be pretty strong with snow shield + all alchemyed gear thats atleast extra 2500-3500 hp if your stuff is all str 4 and 5
and stamina stones

Euro = pot delays. Wiz die with 2 hits, not 1 As long as you have pots you will be alright, unless you have 3+ party monsters & at least a giant on you at once, however you may want to add Str to a certain mag balance to be good in pvp. This is, afterall, Silkroad.

Spear does lots more dmg than s/s, esp. with full int, so you'll be able to 1 hit higher monsters than with s/s.

are you trying to ask if you can kill mobs in 2 shouts? no you won't, except with a sun and maxed blue i think

I can tank exactly that as a full int spear nuker of mobs +2 lvls, with no exceptional gear whatsoever before dying.

are you trying to ask if you can kill mobs in 2 shouts? no you won't, except with a sun and maxed blue i think

all i can say so far is this:
im pure INT nuker, currently lvl 35 soon 36, gapping from 31 atm, and i got SOS shield +5 and SOS sword +3, this is rly handy, because u will die with spear if u meet a giant pt or somethin close to it, like i, i was fighting lvl 30mobs to plvl my wolf:P since i could onehit with my spear(yes i got 3 weps, but not heuksal tree, i only use spear when im doing only nuking)
so ye i was fighting lvl 30 mobs and a giant 2 champion and 1 champion pt came to me, with spear they got me down to 300hp then i switched to shield and activated my def increase buff, this was i managed to kill them all, which i couldnt done without SS, its all what u like, u will prob 2 shot a mob so why not go SS anyway then, since more def, and if needed the def buff

Just use armor until the monsters become magic My gear isn't super (barely even 1 blue on each piece) and I can tank party giants myself with no problem.

if you think you are dying too fast go hybrid


but anyways, you can always be s/s but grind with a spear, they do more damage, and probably will get your grind faster. Try to kill mobs you can 1 nuke + 1 shout. Usually they won't be able to touch you, if you get swamped, put on snow shield or castle shield and spam AOE/transfer attacks until they all fall to the ground.
