Question on Cleric Skill - "Charity"

Charity level 5 says,

When blessed STR +5
When blessed INT +5
(and the Body Blessing thing +9)

Note: I was wearing full set light armor and had a cleric rod in hand.

I tried using Body Blessing lv 2 (+30 phy def) on myself, and yes my def went up by 39 (30+9).

Then I asked my Cleric friend to STR/INT buff me, but I only got the default amount of STR/INT on the skill, I did not get any +5 bonus from Charity.

I thought I might have misunderstood the wording in the skill description and tried to buff my friend with STR/INT buffs, but he also only got the default amount in the skill, no bonus from Charity.

Is the STR/INT part of Charity glitched?

its not a boost for you, its your boost to other people. For example, if your str buff adds say 30str to the person you buff, you will buff them 35 str if you are wearing light armor. That passive has nothing to do with other's buffing you.

The bonus does not show up on the icon description, but if your target checks his INT/STR score, he will see that he did get the bonus.
