Warlock / Cleric: Which Cleric Skills? (High Levels Lookie)~
I'm leveling my Warlock / Cleric at the moment and love it
and just wanted some opinions on what others who have been down this road suggest as skills to have to round out a Warlock.
I dont know about a warlock, but useful cleric skills are simple. Get the two defense buffs, if you ever think you will play as a cleric (not just a warlock who has a few cleric tricks up their sleve) then get the Str and Int buffs too.
Resurection, Bless Spell and at 40 Recovery divison are Must haves.
those 3 spells along with the buffs are all you will probably need if you plan to stay in warlock mode most of the time. If however you ever do see yourself healing the Healing cycle, Group Healing or group recovery and recovery are useful spells.
Only get the cleric offensive spells if you see yourself ever using the cleric in a situation when you will need ot do damage, aka solo play, or PvP.
Oh you may need ot get the passives ot use some of the other skills.

I'm only level 59. Am I considered high level? lol
Anyway, Warlock/Cleric has been great so far. With a Recovery Divison activated, it recovers ALL my hp. I only have 3k hp and Recovery Division is only at level so I think thats pretty good. Its very useful when you are fighting bladers and can't use vampire touch. Recovery Division also allows you to use 2 two nukes instead of a nuke then leech skill. You don't have to depend on your leech skill to regain hp which is nice.
Holy Ward is useful. My cleric mastery is not near my level but this still allows me to be immune to all low level status effects excluding stun.
Bless Spell is useful also. It allows me to be invincible for 45 secs. It makes taking out people higher level than you much easier.
I have offering but its pretty weak because I don't have the cleric damage passive.

So Da_Realest,
Your warlock is higher mastery it seems? So when you head into a fight you cast warlock skills then switch when your hit to your cleric tree? I am wondering how to pvp this build. I am currently Cleric/wizard, but I like the idea of having a sheild 24/7, so I am debating on changing. And also how is your sp going and your gap for this build? Did you need to gap more or have you been able to keep like a one gap the whole time? One more thing, do you wear robes?

My pride and joy CrazySuby is no longer mine. She is and always will belong to Dutchy.

Yes. My warlock mastery is 58 and my cleric mastery is level 40.Glavie's Girl wrote:So Da_Realest,

No. Before the fight begins, I cast Recovery Division and Holy ward. If I plan to use Bless Spell, I cast the skill before the fight begins.Glavie's Girl wrote:So when you head into a fight you cast warlock skills then switch when your hit to your cleric tree?
I'm keeping a 2 gap. All the warlock skills that I need(Excluding Mirage and 1 DoT) are maxed 2 levels behind me. It also gives me enough sp to keep the necessary cleric skills that I want 10 levels behind my Warlock mastery. I'll make note that I'm using a Skill Ticket. I would probably be on 3 gap without it.Glavie's Girl wrote: I am wondering how to pvp this build. I have a question for you about party play. My goal is to be mainly warlock in a party, but be capable of throwing in a heal for assistance if needed, or something such as the Bless Spell.
As far as healing goes, would you say the single target Heal of the Cardinal Praise line is necessary to accomplish this, or would maybe Group Heal, Healing Cycle, and Recovery Division be adequate?

For partying, I would go with Healing Division, Recovery Division, Group Recovery, and Group Healing. If I had to remove one it would be Healing Division.Spellbinder wrote:Da_Realest wrote:I'm only level 59. Am I considered high level? lol
