I had played SRO back when it first came out, STR glaives were all the hype. Came back recently, and now I see there are new types of chars to make.. and I was thinking of coming back and playing one.
I play for PvP. I don't mind being a weak PvE char if it means having a decent char. With that in mind...
I was thinking of making a Warlock or a Rogue. Wanted to ask everyones thoughts, PvP wise, on these two classes.
Rogue(with cleric or warlock subclass)
vs.
Warlock(dunno what subclass these pick... if any)
I had checked the forums and such looking for info on these classes in PvP, and Euro chars in general, but didn't really have any luck...
On a side note, for a rogue, investing into using both xbows AND daggers is stronger in PvP, right? And for PvP, would a rogue/warlock or a rogue/cleric be strongest?
Euro Chars: Warlock vs. Rogue
If you are going for PVP, I'd take rogue/cleric.
rogue/warlock probably good, too, but it takes time to cast debuffs and dot, when you could have used CE or DD and the opponent is already dead.
rogue/cleric allows you to compensate for your low def (and hp) thanks to Bless and Recovery Division, so if you do get ganged up on, you can at least get 30-45 sec of invincibility before Bless wears off.
