Crossbow VS Bow

Post by legendhavoc »

¬I like range, I like hp, I like a lil bit of defence, I like moderate damage,
I like speed.

¬So i pick rangers with lightning...

¬Now before Euro update i was content with my lightning str bower.

¬Now Euro comes out and theres a rouge and i dont know which is
better.

¬European Rouge/wizard has stealth and Crossbow +lightning tele.
¬Chinese Bower/lightning has All the bow skills and lightning tree.

in order for crossbow to do really good damage, you sacrifice 50% of your hp and a ton of defense.

if you dont kill then you die in like 1 or 2 hits.

at least chinese bows can tank and kill, but u need to endure 72 lvls of non-cool skills.

Stealth up, buff up with Crossbow Extreme, let rip and by the time the enemy notices your stealth is gone, they're dead.

Oh yes.

eh... it got much better with the new skills. strongbow launches a lot faster. we have an xtra atk although it can b somewhat of a nuesance during pve, "no i dont want u to hit that 1 mob way over there i want u to hit 1 of the other mobs thats atkin me." but once u get to those new books of skills. 35 crit from 4th book anti devil with a good crit bow will hit for a crit about half the time, knockback from 4th book arrow combo and 10 crit + stun + 4meter xtra atk distance from 3rd book strongbow. it is so worth it. on top of that they have the only offensive passive on the chineese weapon trees.
@ Nenhunter, rofl that is so true. good thing i didnt mind it to much.

Xbow makes Bow look like a blader. It's more archer style where you try to kill the enemy b4 it reaches you. If you like fast lvling in parties, getting insane damage early, and be more stealthy become rogue. If you like to take your time and farm out 30k more than a rogue does, go bow.

Uhm, since when do I look like a blader? =|

Crossbow is disapointing, atleast for me. Wich dude still walks around jobbing without a shield? And with a decent blocking ratio, you can block out there first attack and then they are 50% down to there health without you even touching them.

Or am I missing something?

i mean because they are weak compared to other euros, like it's counterpart xbow. when i see a bow, it's strongbow and anti devil crit does the same damage as a 1h non crit skill, and thats just the first one
