The "Will-Stay and Will-Not-Stay Buff" Discussion

Post by DeShin »

I believe majority of us still learning and implementing skills for Euro characters especially your sub-class or sub-build. So here's the discussion. Two main purposes of getting sub-build are to get buff or having another weapon skills.

Many of us struggle the problem here that is whether the buff you activate (from sub-build) will stay or not stay once you switch back to your main weapon. I.e your main 2handed sword to activate Stealth for instance.

So to those who have gone through the problem, I hope you guys can share with us the strategy on whether which sub-skills or buff from your sub-build will stay even though you switch back to main weapon, for example Moving March from Bard.

100% Confirm WILL WORK (even though you switch back weapon)
- Moving March (bard)

100% Confirm WILL NOT WORK
- +Int & +Str buff (cleric)

I think when it says "Required Item" the buff will disappear if the required item is switched out. If it just says "Used Item" the item is only required to use the buff, and when switched, the buff will remain.
