Need help for my cleric

Post by OpoX »

Hi guys

I need help concerning the healing skills for my cleric.
For now, I have 2 kinds of healing: the simple 1 person heal and the group healing.
I wonder if the Division healing worth to be taken too, i don't get in which way it could be more interesting than the 2 I already have ?

I mean, it works only on 3 people (1 plus 2 transfers if I got it well), so the group healing works better...
Maybe the main interest is the 5 additional meters ?

Can someone tell me what I don't see ?

Thanks !

it divides the HP recovery for that skill so that the person with the absolute lowest hp in the party gets the most recovery, even more so than a group healing.

Reasons to use Healing Division:

- Range
- Mana usage
- Cooldown of Group Heal (if more than one person to heal)

Drawback:

- It's hard to calculate who you end up healing
- Takes up space in the quickkeys

Sorry for the wrong section

OK I see, not so bad actually :D

Biscuit:
The additional space in the quickkeys is not a problem, i'm full support, F1 for heals and my 1 or 2 never used attack skills, F2 for buffs ^^

I'll try it tonight then !

I got both Group Heal and Healing Division for my 25 cleric. It's useful for spamming when your party wizard decides to tank a giant or something. Or when your party fight higher level mobs.

Not added to the single person heal skill since I got the party heals.

I probably use division more than I use group. As standard, I try to heal everyone individually with Healing as it is cheap, but if a wizard suddenly takes damage and I know it will take about 3 seconds to heal him cos of lag, I can quickly tap Division.

Hey guys,

So I tried division, but I never know who is healed...
I look at the HP status of everyone, use it, and often, the guy with the lower HP doesn't get anything... (I tried once when only one guy wasn't full, and he wasn't healed neither...)

So now, I use simple healing for 1 or 2 people, then group healing for more people...

Edit:
Lets think again after reading again MrFudge's post (heal based on absolute HP left)...
The guy I was trying to heal was str... so maybe, even when not full HP'ed he had more HP left than an int char, even if this int char was full HP'ed...
Gotta try it more :D

Yes this is the case, if you have a target up when you use it will always hit that target and then the person with the lowest, its a very very useful spell when in small groups, often a group of 3 or 4 is better for hunting as you have more control, and less chance for aggroing mobs.

Not added to the single person heal skill since I got the party heals.

You will regret this. single heal is the most mana efficant (you can cast alm,ost forever if you only use this spell), and you will soon find yourself in a good party (i can only assume if you find yourself constantly needing group heal atm somthing is wrong - get a new warrior or ditch the mage)

Group heal is generally only needed (at least at lvl 25) for when people stand too close to things that AOE (after the first time if they dont start to move, let them die) or from the inital atk mobs might make when they first aggro due to a body pull from a class other than your warrior.

If you have 2 - 3 melee people with you then you may find yourself using it more, if the mobs you are hunting do use an AoE attack[/quote]

I've seen that alot too in just random party's

Ur healing healing , sometimes attacking and healing. Then you pull accidently a mob towards you , or a mob spawns near. The mob starts to attack me and another one spawn.. I spammed healing on myself and tried to get attention of the warrior.. but no... it seemed like the giant was more important than the healer..

Luckily in the party with my guildies and friends we got a tank which really cares about the cleric. Whenever she sees a mob attacking me or my HP falling down , she immediatly tries to pull the mob towards herself. :)

Cus she know.. while fighting higher lvl mobs.. Cleric Dead = Everyone dead when someone else can't ress..
