Well I am a rogue as well and I am pure str crossbow and dagger...but my plan atm is to only level the crossbow skills to 40 and continue with dagger skills, becuase I seem to use daggers alot more and they seem to cause more damage. I think lvl 40 crossbow skils will help alot in pvp. They will help you cause a good amount of damage to the other player before they even get to you. Then once the other player reaches you, wip out the daggers and you should do well. :D

Well, with my personal experience, levels 24-30 are REALLY going to drain your mp, you need nearly 3k sp to get ALL the skills between levels 24 and 30, assuming you're using daggers. With crossbow's it's less. But, in the end, you will end up picking one over the other, and you'll have just wasted sp leveling both. I say decide early which you prefer.

Also, about the 3k, just leave your mastery at 24, and at 30 you should have more than enough sp to get stealth and all that good stuff.

Also- to sanctified-

Your strategy defeats the whole purpose of stealth. A good plan would be stealth, get behind your enemy. Then Screw, Any combo, preferably a 3 strike one, then Prick, and you should win pretty easily.

Watch some video's of Rogue pvping.
There's a thread in Main discussion.

I would suggest Crossbow, But, everyone and their own choice

wow im really honored you asked for my help....And yes if you ask me the best rouge is a rogue thats maxed out the entire tree. You'll have to farm it bit though but a 3 gap should suffice. Daggers are great in parties because of the damage you deal ( with desperate dagger) and crossbow is a great puller capable of singling out strong mobs to draw instead of masses of unessecary ones like mages tend to do also the KB can save lives.....

In PvP Daggers and crossbows are excellent. Be aware that neither though can survive against mages without there buff and some kind of surprise attack. With daggers fighting mages you run into the problem that mages can KB with lighting then kill with fire. Crossbow doesn't run into this problem can only really be threatened by other with ranged attacks. but still if a mage gets you your in trouble...Other than that your pretty much safe you can kill anything if you act fast enough builds using shields tend to be more difficult so surprise them with stealth...its nasty little trick that will make all your opponents curse at you because they just got pwned without even realizing it. Also GET destealth is you plan on PvPing its the only De-Stealthing skill i've seen so far thats actually continuous ( correct me if im wrong). Just stay out of range of warriors and Fire users until you plan to attack and you should be able to get the drop on them

happy roguing :D
