bard/cleric's mag attk power ??

i've notice, in bard and cleric, they both have a passive mag attk power increase,

on my lvl the bard one is mag attk 20% increase, and the cleric one is mag attk 16% increase.

i've got both, does it mean my mag attks will be 20% + 16% increase???

that's 36%!!!!!

The passives only apply to whichever weapon you are holding.

So as bard, you'll get the 20% increase. As cleric you'll get +16%. You won't get both.
