im trying out a bard/cleric build, going pure int atm,
but i don't know should i use bard as main or cleric as main,
so far, for the bard tree, i've learn all the skills, both attks and buffs, and cleric, i've only learn the healing and res......
but i do find myself, using to cleric rod alot to heal ppl in party play, and then have to switch back to my harp to attk.......
if u're going bard and cleric, which one would u use as main???
bard/cleric which one to use as main?

actually i'm using bard/warlock... but bard as main. I think that you should pick the class that has at least one strong damage move and use that as your main... I don't play cleric and all they seem to do is heal but if they have a damage move then go with that because the subclass can be much weaker than your main once you think about it.

I dont know if this is the best setup as Im still low level (~15) but here is what I use:
Cleric Primary, Bard Secondary
I find that the cleric rod and the harp do the same amount of damage. This also goes for Horror Chord and Trial Cross. Both classes get damage skills later on, but my character design does not focus on damage, but party support.
95% of the time I have my cleric rod and shield equipped. Firstly because my party usually demands a lot of healing, and I couldn't really afford the time to switch back from my harp to heal, especially pure INT casters. Secondly, the shield provides more protection for you. You may be the only cleric in the party, and you want to stay alive.
What about bard profession then? Well Ive abandoned all damage skills (as all my damage comes from cleric line) and instead taken long duration support skills like Moving March which stays active even when my rod is equipped. Additionally I plan to get the mana restoration skills such as Mana Wind for using when the party is not fighting.
