About fire and lightning and swords

A question about fire and lightning. My character is a pure int.

Since fire only has two offensive magical attacks, would it be worth it to actually use it? Upping the mastery all the way just to have two fire skills does not seem worth it.

Is the difference between lightning and fire nukes a lot at higher levels?

I'm considering to have only lightning, force and some good sword skills.

One more question, Does castle shield make the character totally immobile, unable to do anything except stand there and block, similar to spear defensive?

...fire has three nukes. it's the only force w/ three books of it. it's worth it just for the meteor that falls out of the sky w/ book 3 ;) fire and lightning is the perfect combo for a nuker. the difference in nuke power is significant between lightning nukes 1 and 2, and between all 3 fire books. don't waste your time on sword skills, they'll be weak. get one or two chains just for finishing off mobs that it's not worth nuking again. lightning is a good hoice, it's essential to any int player. and yes, castle shield renders you immobile.

I was thinking of going pure lightning, seems that end skills sure make some difference.
