SoX and +s Weapons

Well, since I left my first character because I hated him (I was lv 30 when I discovered I hate him), I discovered that when I started a new char, I was able to buy some SoS and now I have to Chars: Pure Int and Pure Str both with SoS weps and leveling in a good speed. Well.... the question is...

Must I Keep buying SoS (can't affort higher ) or it will be better buy +s weapons?

I used to buy SoS +3, that is almost like a +8 weapon, but the prices are high and they are no easy to find as I like. I was thinking on buy weps with +s like 5 or 7, It will be better?

I find +5 with lots of int on gear does the work for me but at lvl 42 with a +5 spear and little int on gear you can't one shot, however my 32+5 was able to though.

Sos is close to a +7. And before people say no it is +5 you must look at EllisD thread on stats. The part about reinforce. (it is in her sig)

Also A sos/som/sosun can all have higher crit stats.
Just like a shield can have a higher BR.

I currently have a SOS+5 lvl 52 bow. I just bought a lvl 60+4 bow because it is slightly stronger and will give me time to sell my sos. That way I have more money to spend on my lvl 64 bow.
