This is what i plan my str build to be

http://bobtheveg.dyndns.org/SRO/Char_Build_Applet/?profile=30466

Hueksal 90
Fire 90
Pacheon 60
Light 60

Will pacheon att rating really help that much? and if i summon hawk the switch to glaive does it stay or go?

Thanx

Scrap the pacheon. Level light to 90 too.
The attack power will be weak with a bow, and attk rating wont help that much.

And what exactly would getting light to 90 help with. He can run faster?

no point in lightning above 60 in my opinion.

he's str, prob gonna use garms and will already be fast enough.
he'll use fire as imbue, and must piercing force series is only essential for INT builds.

parry ratio buff and passive is nice, and really 60 lvls of that is enough.

no point in taking light to 90.
plus with 60 lvls of pacheon u can get a sweet blue hawk above your shoulder, attack ratinga bout 24-26 increase i believe.

And that's where you go WRONG! :)
It's right that Must Piercing Force is only for INT-Based attacks, but you forgot an imbue is INT-Based too! :D Adding Must Piercing Force will raise your imbue damage.

I agree. You will get more benefit taking light higher. Piercing force will add like 17%+ to your mag attack, parry is good for defence, as well as longer phantom & faster grasswalk.

Getting bow just for AR isnt wise IMO. Seeing as it just raises the likleyhood of you hitting higher in your damage range, lightning will actually make you hit harder.

If we're talking about current skills, the only difference between 60 light and 70 light is 1% mag damage and 3 more parry ratio. Unless their is going to be a new piercing force and concentration book then lvling up bow seems like a much smarter choice to me.

Choice is yours

Light - 1% More attack damage, 3 more parry ratio and you run slightly faster.

Bow - You can lvl with it up to 60 at least and you get a 54 inrease in attack rating.

I say for now you just go leveling normal with your glavie and wait till the skills come out first.

have you done tests lol.

fire book 1 maxed and fire book 3 maxed is like 300 damage difference using same skills on same mob.
and sometimes even less due to AR.

when i turn on my must piercing force it BARELY does anyhing to my skills, probably like a 50 damage difference which is almost insignificant.
it just helps to know its turned on, makes me feel like im doing more damage when im really not.

Most say that about AR also.

Lightning till 80 gets you:
17% mag attack
73% moving speed
22m phantom
31 parry passive

IMO i would rather have this ^^ than a whole tree for 1 skill, well...and passive, especially for a glaiver that can already put up big numbers.

Most say that about AR also.

Lightning till 80 gets you:
16% mag attack
65% moving speed
22m phantom
31 parry passive

IMO i would rather have this ^^ than a whole tree for 1 skill, well...and passive, especially for a glaiver that can already put up big numbers.

You get 1% more mag attack, 6% more speed, 3 more parry and 3m more of phantom. You were a bit off on your numbers but no worries, i'd still take the 54 extra AR over these small differences unless theirs new books/levels when the update comes.

Since theirs really no test to prove how much the AR will help you exactly it's just up to the user to decide what he wants to take, if forgotten wants a more future proof build then lvling light is the way to go, for now i'd just suggest waiting for the new skills to come out then see what you want to do.

The numbers i put in my post reflect this:

http://www.janrique.com/~soda/SRF/ksro_70-90_skills.htm

And i only put the skills up to 80, because they are the most relavent atm since we arent getting 90 cap soon.
