My Hybrid SP Farming Build (Help please)

Hi,

I'm building my char, currently only level 8 (Yes I know I am a noob). My build is going to be an INT Heavy Hybrid. 2:1 Ratio, with a Glavie/Glaive (In the game it says Glavie, but whatever...) and Fire/Lightning Masteries.

How does this build fare against some of yours. Any other builds like mine? Do you suggest that since I'm going INT Heavy, that I use a Spear instead of Glavie/Glaive? I am also SP Farming, and I plan to do a little of the Korean grinding at like level 16, but not a crazy amount. Please help me out

quick suggestion: use spear.

spear is int based weapon, glavie is str based.

and yes fire and light is good to start off with.
ice can also be useful, but is most useful at the new 90cap which comes
with an update soon we hope. seen this is your first character, i would not
be so worried about that. just take int hybrid spear light fire and you will
have a good time and some quick leveling. pvp is also fine on 2:1..

If I were to use a Glavie instead of Spear, and I switched to Str Heavy Hybrid, would I then lower the amount of points into Magic skills, and raise the amount into Weapon masteries and Weapon skills?
