I have been sp farming since level 1 with a 8 or 9 level gap the whole time, I start about 5 days ago and am currently level 18 with 17.01% and 9 level gap. I have 5891 SP, and will continue to grow. At around 10k sp I will stop farming and just keep a 3-4 level gap to get the needed sp ammount. So, if you still want a lot of sp just keep that 9 level gap for a while and remember any gap over 9 doesnt do anything.
This is a game, You're invited. www.lost.eu/572c4

You know, I have never gotten 1k of SP farming up to level 10. My experience has been that the time consumed in getting SP before you get your imbue, is a lot of waisted time. Better to get your masteries to lvl 5, get your imbue, and hold. You get your 9 lvl gap at lvl 14. Best time for SP farming w/ 9 lvl gap.
And for the love of God, no quests!
Since you are already at lvl 20, stop killing Chakji's. Find you a nice weapon with high crit, and go hunt some black or white tigers, or maybe even bandits (anything green). They give less SP, but the idea is to kill things fast, so in the time you killed 3 tigers, you have more sp than you would have had you killed 1 chakji in the same amount of time.
Then grind, grind, grind. If you think you are going to go crazy, stop. You are lvl 20 now, do a 1 star trade run, break up the monotony. Back to grinding. Starting to loose interest in SRO altogether, surrender to the 4 lvl gap and go back to doing quests, you should be fine til lvl 50 or so.
You get to lvl 25, you still need to think about a 3-4 level gap.
An interesting side note, I did some SP farming again, when I was lvl 31. I found a nice +2 bow with a crit of 8. Went out to the grasslands (NE of Donwhang) and hunted demon horses. Most kills were in one blow, and with a 4 lvl gap (and gold ticket) I was getting over 200 sp per kill. That would be 1 sp per 2 kills. That was the same I was getting at lvl 14 with a 9 lvl gap killing yeohas. The problem with that was that I was also getting alot of xp, so I couldn't keep it up for long before getting to lvl 32, and the demon horses no longer gave me good sp.
