I think i can answer this question:

You need to get less hits than a glavie or blader character, since you have less HP. This makes the Knockdown series very usefull. I would use this one and the combined one, as well! (Those are the most annoying skills in SRO!!! And there is a reason for that!^^)

Lion shout is maybe effective, too, but since you have only a shot ammount of time between most attacks this may not fit in your strategy often, because you can start other more effective skills in that time. (might still be a finishing solution, but i am not sure about that one)

Now I come to the main part of your question:

How to use the stats.... very well... this is complicated and depends pretty much on what you like, but i would follow a certain guideline, since i feel sword-users differ a lot. YOU have to like your character, NO ONE ELSE has to. So you should do the stats as you wnat, but don't go fast, because you really have to know what you are doing. I started a sword char as well recently, but i am still farming, for propably 2 more months. I will propably go on a 2str/5int hybrid, since i fell safer with more HP, even if i dont have the hellcracking damage.

no they can't die and they can't kill.
But they get worse as they lvl up. Cause high lvl's are imune to ice. And I use firewall since a while back wich also absorps mag dmg and prevents KD so basicly I have no problems with bladers lately especially ice bladers I love them it's a nice easy warm up.
As long as I kill them before the wall gets taken down. But then again I can just phantom away and start over.

i say go 85% pure ints get owned, not enuf int and ur nukes wont do shit, so 85% is a good #

other wise.....if u have the gold i would go pure int because u could easily max out str on you set ^_^

+1 this is so true... pure ints rule but you gotta have the money. But my experience is that because you have to farm a lot and you can kill fast. You make money fast. If i'm playing like 8hours a day then I can make 700k easy not counting elixers, tablets and good gear I find. So that's just picking up gold and selling c.rap gear.

if you think you can't do it.. go hybrid.. less good cause you sacrefice some dmg for hp within your build. So you won't have to get your gear so blue.

Hmm, I don't know anything about int based characters. Mine have all be str based. But I can tell you that I have fought pure and hybrid int characters, and won easily. The hybrids are somewhat easier then the pure because they don't hit as hard, but pure happen to have low hp so they don't live very long either.

I have found that pure int s/s is better then pure int spear because I can close the distance between my character and the nuker faster then the nuker can hit me again. I can then unload some dmg with a kd and stabs, and the nuker is down. With a s/s you are able to block, and for some reason have enough extra defense to stay alive. >.<

well i am think of going for pure int cuz lots of dmg i ill have enough money from my other charas so i will have lots of STR on my eq and also
with the update they have mana shield for ice skills right?

i am going pure int bicheon,cold and lightning using cold imbue cuz its good for pure ints and i am skipping fire cuz of the 300 mastries cap

no man 85% mag dont have enough damage... go 90% or at least 88%

Full int always dies.
I owned a higher full int thief thas was higher lvl then me.
I one hitted him.
Full int is only good PVE but PVP its sucks.
So i should say that the best PVP character is full str blade or glavie fire or cold.

i'm not gonna argue with you.. but your comment on pure int.. is simply not true. It's all about blue.

lil story about one hitting pure int:

I was thiefing the other day and i saw a trade .. 4 camels.. and 3 hunters.

a 42+ glavie, a 60+ glavie and a 64+ spear. I ran away a bit.. the 42+ and 60+ came after me. I set up my firewall took 2 hits from the 60+
zerked and 1hit him, then 1 hit the 42+ and then did the same with the 64+.

Then when i wanted to get the trades they were all 1star

i'm 56 with a 9 gap btw.

lol keep yourself updated before you come with your sarcasem. At the update when the 80+ skills come.. ALL nukers will change to this build.

The mana shield will rule and that will be your mag deff.. besides nukers already got a lot of mag def. Only thing you will really miss is your imunity.. i can't imagine doing without my firewall but that mana shield sounds really cool so i guess im giving it up.

Only thing I don't understand is cold imbue .. why?? light does more dmg and ppl are imune to ice at high lvl's
