First, this is the wrong section of the forum....
And second, i suggest you to do the tutorial of the game before asking so basic questions.

The most important NPC traders are around the square with the dragon fountain in Jangan (the first city).
If you want to find them easier press M to bring up the map, then double click on the city and you'll see their locations.

im sory to say this but u need to sell ur computer and never play silkroad again......have you ever played a game before because every game ever made with a shop is basicly the same.....and u could hav done chinese tutorial it tells you how to do stuff........

Dont flame him ok. Im sure back in the day when u just started out u didnt know what to do either. Not everyone picks it up straight away.


Anyway, there is a quest called "chinese tutorial" , it is activated as soon as u make a character. To talk to the npc, go to west gate and look for the NPC with a golden flag above his head. Once u talk to him he will introduce you to the basics of the game and he will teach you how to do those questions that u mentioned above, + alot of other handy tips.
