Mastery Question

I am going to be a spear nuker. Should I put up my spear mastery? Mastery puts up your attack power, so does that count as physical and magical?

The only reason you should raise your mastery for spear if you plan on using spear is to help you get to 30 when you can get nukes, and for the passive HP boost which will help a lot since you won't have much hp and will die in a hit or two from a pure str.

I'm pretty sure the %damage increase from leveling won't help much if at all with nuke damage.
