Help with my Glaivier. (StealMySoda, come here!)

Post by Rainigul »

Umm, I made this alt account, it's pure str, but I screwed up his sp soooo badly. First I was gonna be pure str blade, then I changed to archer because I got a +6 bow drop, then I changed to glaive for some reason, then I changed back to blade, now I wanna be glaive again.

Anyways, I wanted to know 3 things about glaives.
I'm really inexperienced with glaives, so I wanted to know is the 3rd skill (forgot the name) worth getting?
Should I get the combos? Or are they just a waste of sp?
Should I raise flying dragon skill? Or is it not worth it.

If I had to have a guess, I'd say all I need is soul depart and ghost spear series, but I just wanted your advise.

I really hope StealMySoda comes here, because he knows what he's talking about.

From what I have seen,

3rd skill is your choice, I got level 1 then deleveld.

Combos are good for pve only, so once again your choice.

Flying dragon skill is a ranged attack so getting your enemy while they run is easy with this. I say raise just a tiny bit.

Once again, this is from my experience and what I have seen in videos, pvp, etc. Please do not take my post seriously if StealMySoda or anyone who is glaive pro posts.

nop really a waste of sp ^^
Should I get the combos? Or are they just a waste of sp?

depends, a lot of people say its useless in pvp, but really its not, its to take for sure if ur ice glaivier ! if you use fire immbue, then you can pass it !

yup you need it ^^ in pve to lure far mobs and deal them some high damages, in pvp, it may be your first skill or the skill that you use when u are knocked back or if the guy is runing... depend on ur style

Your mom made it sound like a phuckin bean stock is gonna start growing off your face and seek vengeance for cutting it.

3'rd skill does not suck. The cooldown is very small. If you are mobbed:
spirit crash -> mars -> spirit crash. Worth taking if you have enough SP. Combos for PvE only. IMO Tiger > Shura > Dragon. Pluto is pretty good because it's pretty quick, much quicker then dragon, that is :)
If you have SP, take the combos, but they are not mandatory.
Both of these skills are optional, take them only if you have enough SP.
Carry your cross, and I'll carry mine.

combos @ PvE are good, DONT use it in PVP, im pure str glavie lv78

Take soul + mars, take the 1st book of flying dragon, en lv1 2th book

Max fire + glavie, take lightning

I prefer no cold, and using bow (for passive and hawk) or duel with blade

Im going to get:

80 glavie
80 blade
80 fire
60 lightning

with my 110% phy dmg, good build..

good build for a dual weap, but you can be better with ice60 instead of blade and rise light to 80

There is no point raising light to 80 unless you are a nuker.
