u ABSOULUTLY DO NOT need 30k to be well off. you can be well off with 10k or less. i personnally only have 1 k now but i use it as if 1k was zero so if i want a skill i'll farm some stuff up for it

if you're bored of farming... then keep a gap of 4 or 5... and keep going with the game.

you may enjoy it more that way :D

what don't you get?

i kept 5-6 lvls from lvl30 on. never felt SP-starved until recently when i closed the gap to lvl faster. i'm back up to 3lvls finally; will stay there till lvl56 when i'll bump them up again to get fire nuke book 3.

well i guess im just gonna keep a 6 lvl gap till 30 then lvl up for nuke then grind out to get a 4 lvl gap and i guess i should be fine. i really dont want SRO to become a tedious job.

Sometimes i think: Why this farming crap? Why have the creators of silkroad made it so: or u will be lvl fast in the beginning and suck later, or u will farm to hell until u get bored enough to stop with the game. Even with nice music on is it a pain for me just killing monsters for some 500 sp.... It's like i'm wasting time.

SP farming is the act of killing monsters for a long period of time from level 16-18 while having the highest mastery no higher than 7 at level 16, 8 at level 17, and 9 at level 18. This will give you optimum SP per kill. After you are about to level up at level 18 going on 19 you have a friend come over to resurrect you. Then you die to monsters until you de-level (that is lose enough experience to go down in level) and go back to level 18 w/ about 1% exp earned for next level.

This process is usually performed on charaters dubbed "Nukers" or "Hybrids" or any character hoping to actively level more than 4 or more mastery trees. It is used in hopes of aleviating the need to use a 6-7 rank gap for the entire game (that is 6 point spread between cahracter level and highest mastery level). The values are as follows for Endgame SP requirement=: 60k- 10k farmed, 3 rank gap; 65-70k- 20k Farmed, 2-3 rank gap; 70-80k- 20k farmed, 3-4 rank gap; 80k+- 30k farmed, 3 rank gap.

For those of us mastering only 2 or 3 skill trees it is possible to use a 3 or 4 rank mastery gap for the entire game and be fine.

Thats about the thick and thin of SP farming.

oh yea, almost fogot:

IT IS BORING AS HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ermx.. if you really hate sp farming.. just have a 9 lvls diff and just do the quests etc.. kill monsters your own lvl. etc etc. This way it's not that boring and think of it as a whole new quests.. :P
