I have a question. I know BA don't have magic so do you use garment for the %20 mp reduce or armor for strength purposes. I seened a few sp farming guides and they all say different things. 1 say use garment so you'll save mp and this one says wear armor for str purposes but you'll use more mp pots? well someone shed some light thank you??

Insightful guide.

But question: I'm level 25 now and I have two skill trees - the sword/blade (24) and force (23). Is it too late for me to start farming? I don't exactly want to be super-super-powerful but I don't want my character to suck later on down the road either. Also, I really really like my character so starting a new one is really frowned upon haha. Any advice that can help my current situation would be appreciated.

I'm no expert, but it seems everyone says just start increasing the gap... like don't add any more skill levels until 30 or whatever.

I skipped most of the pages, too lazy to read, so excuse me if the answer has been already written here.

What I want to ask is: Is it that the highest lvl mastery counts in the sp/exp ratio or if I have 16 fire and 20 spear the sp/exp ratio will be higher?

well yes if your lvl 20 and yoru highest lvl mastry is 20 like you stated in your post then you have a 0 lvl gap whichs means you'll lvl faster then if you was to have a 3 lvl gap. lvl #-your highest mastry lvl # = gap ex lvl 20-15(spear)= 5 lvl gap you'll get more sxp then xp. I hope I answered your question

To Pr-Solja;

Deffo use Garm. The less MP usage will save you the pots, not to mention full Armor doesn't give you a Str bonus that I know of.

And btw, great guide too. Really helped. :D

this link helped me out a whole lot to know how much sp experience you'll need to get to before you can stop farming:

You can farm any level you want, just that some monsters (non-aggro and/or better spawns) work better. It's just better to start early because in the higher levels you might be farming because you ran out of skill points and thus don't have the latest skills (oops) or whatever.

Level 5 bows you can get from drops or from other people.

Questions questions questions.
I am pure INT light+cold spear. I'm only at lvl 13. My light mastery is same as char lvl 13, and fire is lvl 12. Can I start farming at lvl 16, and still play regular quest game, meaning, farm for sp for like 2 hours, and then go back to normal game lets say for 2 or 1 hours? If im right, I guess once I reach level 16 I mustn't upgrade the mastery levels, so it creates a gap between char lvl?

If u like to farm at low lvl just stay farming at lvl 16.. keep 9 lvls diff. and concentraite on farming.. after u acheive ur goal then lvl back as normal.. 0 gap..

the gap is so the player gets more SP out of a kill. it doesnt make a player weaker. The higher the gap, the more SP you get. The smaller the gap, the more XP you get. People with a bigger gap grow their levels VERY SLOW. [/b]

Just a question, when you get lvl 11, your highest mastery will be 6. When you get to 12 it will be 7. But as I lvl my mastery, I can lvl other skills. likethundertiger force lvl 2 or unlock chain sword attack series. Should I unlock/lvl those when i lvl my mstery or should i keep farming and just lvling my mastery?

Geobot wrote:no need to kill youself repeatedly or start over. just leave your masteries where they are for a few levels, maybe 5, and stock up on sp that way. if you get low, scale it back more. if you have a surplus, level your skills some. it's not an impossible situation or anything. you can start at any time, it's jsut quicker to build up if you start early on, that's all.

Thanks for this reply...so I should STOP leveling my masteries?
I'm lvl 24...and my highest mastery is about 23.
I'm mastering lighting, fire, and Heuksal.
I should just stop leveling them and keep grinding?
Like keep a 4/5 lvl gap?

I can't give you the exacts because it's the afternoon and it's almost impossible to get on...but when I do I'll give the exacts.

^^^^that's my skills...
Now I wanna sp farm.
Should I just STOP leveling them up?
I wanna master lighting, fire, and Heuksal.
the cold & force I'm gonna down them ASAP...
And the bloody fan storm + dancing demon spear...
I'm lvl 24.
So...?

And yes I read some of this thread...I should keep a 4/5 lvl gap and just keep grinding?

BTW, I'm following this(http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=26105) guide.
