Question about wolves

A few questions:

1. They help you kill mobs but don't they take away from the XP you gain? If so, why bother with them?

2. I'm currently lvl 20. If i buy the silk one, what level will it be?

3. Bottom line, are they worth getting?? Or am i better off getting a monkey/squirrel?

Wolves get exp of their own. You will not share exp with the wolf.
You should get both a wolf and a monkey/squirrel.
A wolf can be useful, because it does decent damage (finishes off a mob)

they are great when going against a guy.. u can kill another one with him while u kill one...thats 2 in 1..easy..they also help kill bots

just make sure u take the time to "train" ur puppy. it costs a lot to revive (50k a pop). so at level 2x, take the time to walk it through mangyan (it would level very fast). or u can take it with u on bug quests/chakji but leave it as passive (less chance of being attacked) or just bring lots of pots.

in short, its worth it, but keep an eye on its hp in the low levels, but once its 2-3 lvls lower than u, that puppy rocks!!

just a note. the white wolves from the item mall can't be sold,but are cheaper to put in storage. the grey wolves can be sold in game.

when you buy a wolf its lvl 1.

nah, just bring it to passive mobs, like chakji workers at the china side of ferry. that way it lvls way faster.
