Spear/glaive questions

Post by Couleria »

Ok, so Im doing a spear/glaive character, full str. Ive gone into ice and am just getting the imbue, shield, and passive.

also have the run increase in lightning and am wanting to get the rez.

now, what I am wondering is, am I going to be seriously gimp if I stick to this plan. Or, should I invest more into lightning or into fire? Ive considered getting the fire imbue, shield and passive and getting the lightning imbue.

Im not to concerned with the lightning passive since it only increases force dmg and my main damage comes from my weapons.

Anywho, any advice would be swell.

Edit: Almost forgot, Im wearing Protector armor (mainly for the balance of defense and it looks best IMO) and have yet to make my mind up on spear vs glaive.

The only real thing ice has going for it is its freezing, but the new auto potting system and the reduce % accessories really nerfed ice, thus many go fire. Goodluck on your quest to being an ice/glaive.

Ive really only gone into ice for the buff/passive skills. Im considering going into fire bc of the autopot stuff. But then again, the burn is easily potted to.

Basically im looking for pros/cons of fire vs ice vs light
