I hate first post, since most people will think that I am the newbie. but oh well...
I have been farming 6 characters since I don't know which one should I go with, right now I have.
*PSHunter (LV 18) - STR Ice/Fire Bow
Using the build based on...
http://www.metroid-legacy.com/forums/vi ... hp?p=70#70
*PSGic (LV 13) - INT Light Sword
Using the build based on...
http://www.silkroadtavern.com/forums/in ... =8&pick=46
*PSWari (LV 12) - STR Fire Glavie
Using the build based on...
http://www.silkroad-oasis.com/forum/sho ... php?t=1108
*------ (LV 6) - STR Fire Blade & Shield
[Going to use Fire as main force]
*------ (LV 8) - Hybrid [1:1] Fire/Light Spear (Maybe put INT 2: STR 1 after LV 20)
*------ (LV 9) - INT Healer/Ice Bow
These 2 characters using the build based on...
http://www.silkroadtavern.com/forums/in ... =8&pick=49
I doing this to know which one is the best one before I going to set a character as the main.
Currently, PSHunter is the main, but she seem use too much MP pots even she wearing Garment and ranout of arrows too quick! So I started INT chara with Sword and Armor, but she need to use BOTH HP & MP pots x.x Then I started another STR chara to support arrows. Then, I feel, I want to be healer, so I start a healer with pure INT for now. But she is bow, she needed arrows. So I create another STR chara to support her, but I want a hybrid, so I create a hybrid wanna-be-heavy-INT chara to have all type of characters.
For overall performance...
*PSHunter, use too much arrows & MP.
*PSGic, use BOTH HP & MP.
*PSWari, seem this one is best for now, using protector.
*Healer, save some HP pots, but not MP.
*Hybrid, having trouble on HP if she got more than 2 hits.
*STR, have to wait until next week to get to level.
[However, all of them can do some decent damages.]
These characters, use equipments from drop most of them. I don't like to do PvP [Since I am not so good with this...] and save money as much as I could while make characters strong as much as possible.
I don't like to do levels and screw up my characters later on, so I tried to look from different forums, look at builds, and try to SP farm (even I have no + or SOS weapon...) This will make sure that I have enough SP for certain levels before I move on.
Well, since this one is the hybrid topic, so before I going to pump my character even worst, I have to make sure the following:
1. My hybrid character current stat is STR 38: INT 38 base +2 INT to make STR 38: INT 40 at LV 8. Weapon is Spear, going to use fire and light . I use fire to attack monsters. Her magic damage seem to be much higher than weapon. [Weapon only around 25 and Magic around 76.] The one problem that she had is... If I fight with Water Ghost, the damage of Water Ghost is about 40 ~ 44 with Protector, if she got one hit, her HP and MP will be reduce the same amount. However, if she got two hits, her HP will be less than MP and sometimes I have to use pots to continue fighting. I am thinking that if I use Armor, my MP will be much less and use more MP pots. I think that if she start to put 2 INT: 1 STR, whould it will be better than this or it will be the same? (Current: 75% Phy: 66% Mag)
2. If I going to be 1:1, Should I have to put on both weapon and force skills? I heard is the max gap is around 150, so I have to think which one will be main, and 2 sub. (The 3 books that I going to use are Fire, Light and, Spear books) I hate when I need to reset skills and cost ton of Gold/Real Dollars. It really hard to decide either go with 1:1 or 2 INT: 1 STR. (But based on the ScreenShot of the build, it is 1:1 character)
3. For the Healer, I heard from players that "You need to put STR for HP to get less dying." Well, I feel like, if I put STR, then, my ice damage will be reduce and the monsters will hit me first and I die. I think that will be the same thing as put no STR and die in the mob. I think I may have to watch out HP before I decide healer as pure INT or Hybrid INT 2: STR 1.
I am a player that do not really involve the PvP, do mostly PvE, solo most of the time (until higher LV), save money, and like to use drops rather than by things from stall.
Well, that's all about my characters. Sorry that this post is long. It took me almost an hour to think about this post through.
Sincerely, Pan2006 (March 19th, 2006)
