Str Hybrid
This means that you have have 2:1 ration of strength to intellect

Pure Str
This is just self explanatory, no int added, just strength.

Int Hyrbid
2:1 int:strength Hybrid

Pure Int
basically a bow nuker

Most people are going to vote pure strength, because bow relies a lot on crits.

But it doesn't hurt to be more experimental.

Maybe so, but the fact still stands, and there is evidence in the poll that states that the majority of people associate pure strength with the best bow build.

Well, i voted Str Hybrid. That is what my build is based on. I cannot tell you how good its going to be when its all said and done, but i have lots of farming left to do and am currently very pleased with it, so that must say something.

So what, i strayed from the cookie-cutter, lol, sue me.

*Side Note* If there are any pure str 68 bowers on Oasis (preferrably with no sos gear, as i have none), i would love to pvp you to see how i fair.

Yeah that's the problem.
There are very few high level bowers that are not pure str.
People assume that since str bow is good, that the others suck.
Yet 95% of the time they've never tested it or even seen a hybrid/int bow.

i've tested the hybrid int bow, and it did great in PvE, but in PvP it was weak. If a glavie crit a SST or GSP on me, i was as good as dead. Leveling speed was good, but PvP, as said, was very lacking. Nukers would beat the shit out of me every time, and I couldn't kill bladers or glavies either. Quit the char at lvl. 40

Thats all i saw when i started reading guides also.

Most of these comments, the users that made them rarely make claims that they have even tried a different bow build, let alone gotten them to a decent level (full 7th or full 8th degree i would call a decent level). They end up just regurgitating the same old info that they read somewhere, so it must be true right?

I would vote 70:70 Hyrbid because eventually with blues on your gear you could get it to 80:80 and maybe even a little bit more. And in pvp and in pve thats gotta hurt your enemies!

I say eaither str hybrid on int hybrid cause with my hybrid int s/s i can kill pure str bow guys easy

I voted pure STR because it's the only build that's been proven to work. I am curious about the 70%/70% build but it hasn't been proven to work yet. there are a few people on this forum that are in the process of building one and I'm ancious to see what the outcome is. In theory it should prove effective, but in the game it might be a different story.we'll just have to wait and see.
