Hybrid Int farming

Hi,
Im only lvl 12 (int) now with lvl 7 masteries. I planned on getting a good bow and farming at Bandit den, but then I thought if I get to lvl 30 and get my nukes wouldnt I farm faster/better? Are there good "nuke-farming" areas at the 30s? Or should I stay with my original plan, have the 9 lvl gap at lvl 16 and kill bandits.
(also, if I should farm later, should I have a lvl gap till that or should I speed up my lvling procedure by haveing less / 0 gap?)

Farm bandits a bit for now, it the fastest place in game to gain SP. However you can farm quite well later on, HOWEVER, never AS well because spawn rates are lower.

i have calculated the SP needed to get lvl 30 and get the nukes to farm. You will need about 12-14k SP to get to lvl 33 with lvl 33 nukes. Some of the nukes start at lvl 31. i did lvl 33 because at 32 you also get phantom walk lvl 1 and for ints i think its worth it. So yeah you can farm archers and get 12k SP or so and then lvl up with 0 gap and get to lvl 30 easy to get your nukes.

im not crazy lol, i was just thinking other things and typing other things. i was thinking the flying dragon which is lvl 31. but yeah nukes is 30 and like i said you need about 12-14k to get them.

If you wait to get your nukes to farm you won't be able to farm till lvl 39. you will have to raise your masteries to 30 to get your nukes then your gap will be 0 at lvl 30. you will have to build your gap back up to 9 to farm, hence lvl 39 for farming. at this point you may as well wait till lvl 42 to get your next weapon. Farm at 16 ATLEAST 10K to hold you over till lvl 42. start raising your gap as soon as you hit lvl 30.there are some decent quests in the 30's to help with lvling and SP. hope this helps

No need to do this at all. Just level up with a 2-3 lvl gap and don't get every single skill, just get the basic ones you need (like two attacks and the imbue, and Must Piercing Force). Then when you get to 30, get your nuke and let your masteries fall back a bit more while you level.

I'm at lvl 28 (just 10% until lvl 29) and I have about 300 SP now, with my Fire mastery at lvl 27. At lvl 30 I'll have more than enough SP to get my nuke (I'm using Cursed Hearts to delevel some skills I don't use anymore), and after that I'll just level and get my skills maxed up to lvl 33-35, and then farm at lvl 42 with a 7-9 lvl gap.

yeah that will work. I just wanted more than the basic skills for my guy

. I was able to max all the skills I wanted all the way through. I'm currently building my gap back up to 9 to farm at 42. used up all my SP(only have 1300 left) :cry:

but all my skills are maxed at lvl 32. either way will work depending on what you wan't.

I just think that for an INT (hybrid) it's much easier farming at lvl 40+, when you can kill with a nuke + Wolf's Thunderbolt, or even go after higher level monsters if you have dual nukes. Much more fun than being stuck at the bandits with a bow for weeks.

yeah that did suck :banghead:

. I guess if you can avoid it and still have fun playing than go for it, but I think grinding on quest MOB's with just the basics your going to get KS'd a lot and get frustrated, maybe not but that's why I wanted to max my skills while I lvl'd. and 10K ain't the end of the world

. but the point of a game is to have fun, so if the fun stops you might stop playing. so the choice I guess is up to the individual. If you can take the boredom to gain added skills while you lvl than by all means go for it, if not than get to lvl 42 as quick as you can and farm there

lvl with 6 gap =19k sp enough for alot of skills at lvl33
then just lvl up to 42 and nuke farm with 9 gap
