No weapon skill build

Hello all,

I am currently building a Full STR bow, and a Full INT s/s (may turn it into a hybrid INT spear as i'm only level 10 currently with that character), but I was actually wondering if anyone has successfully built a character with no weapon skills (all force skills)?

Would this build even be viable, or do you really need to have some sort of weapon skill to make it in SRO later on?

One last thing... I heard someone (I think here, but maybe in game) stating they had a good Full STR nuker... How in the heck does that work? Is it just a Weak nuker for the AOE to draw aggro then lay waste to the mobs with a glaive or something?

Uh, so bow users depend heavily on their skills. So do bladers and glaivers because they're strength based.

And so we have sword and spear users who are candidates to be pure force... usually a nuke won't be able to finish someone off unless you got great equipment or are a higher level, and when they get close range you'll be at a huge disadvantage without knockdown (for sword) or soul-depart/ghost (for spear)

So I say you do need some weapons skills...

It would certainly be an interesting build:

Cold nuke --> fire nuke --> lightning nuke and if needed Wolf's thunderbolt.

Would that work? I realise it probably won't be the best in PvP...but then again you can always use a shield, just no sword, that should help a little.

Well, you could use a shield, and when someone comes close you cast Crystal wall and continue to nuke them from the safety of your ice fortress. I have to try this build!

I tried to make a 1:1 hybrid fist tanker.

Ive been telling veryone who awesome it is

it sucks but its fun ^.^

i only got to lvl 20, and i cheated cause i useded a glavie to get to that lvl.

That pure STR nuker, well the one who posted it was joking. Now a lot of the new ppl are reading that want to build one.
A pure force char can and will do good when you fight monsters, but it will be hard to pvp without a weapon skill.
At higher lvls you will have enough nukes to choose from if you take two force's anyway. But it is all about personal prefs.

If you are:
1. serious: omg, u noe wpn makes a difference even when nuking rite?
2. joking: put a smiley at the end, ppl cant take sacasm over the net

isnt Hydralisk a pure force nuker (he uses spear to grind, s+s for pvp, he doesn't seen to have any skills for that) he seens to be surviving pretty good

guess my pure STR friend likes the firenuke but he's pure STR then he spend a 144 sp on it, and it turns out crap, does like 400 damage to mangyangs...


well, in other games, it's possible... some games doesn't have the mag balance thing, so the same skill deals relatively same amount of damage with a Stamina mage and the Int mage

1. you need wep skills if you want to pvp, if not, then sure make a spear or sword nuker with only forces....


2. there is NO SUCH THING AS A STR NUKER. GOD I WISH PEOPLE WOULD QUIT SAYING THAT


3. if you use just a shield, you will be not only laughed at hysterically, but you will do NO DAMAGE. and you will be just a dumb char walkin around takin craps on yourself.
