Question on Deleveling

I have a question about deleveling my character.

Lets say, for example, i was lvl 20, and had already put in all of my stat points. and that i was wearing lvl 20 gear.

Then, if i were to delevel back to 19, would i still be able to keep my stat points and gear.

If so, would the game register that i am lvl 19 or 20?

If you de-lvl your stat points go back to what it was at lvl 19, and no you will not be able to wear the lvl 20 things.

The 3 stat points you added at 20 will still be there except for the 2 that are automatically added everytime you level (correct me if I'm wrong). You won't be able to wear lvl 20 gear, but if you were wearing some at the time of delvling, you'd still have them on but it would be like wearing nothing in that slot.
