Nuker Question

I built a nuker, he is now lv 30 with following masteries: 30 fire, 30 light, 20 bicheon, 20 heuksal. When I hit lv 42 what weapon should I use and which mastery levels for the four trees???? Pls answer

Well that depends if you want to farm at level 42. If you do, get your fire, light and weap skill of your choice to 33 and stop there.

If you don't, there a two choices for which weapon you'd want to use.

Sword+Shield: Great defence, ironwall skill is fantastic when fighting str builds. The KD(knockdown) and stabs are perfect for a massive chunk of damage (imbue wise) or for a final defensive move; eg: kd then run.

Spear: Great attack, the fan spear series effectively dilutes any mag. attack directed at you. As an INT, this probrably won't benefit you as much as a str build would. Soul spear and ghost spear are perfect skills for stun+knockback and the passive adds 1000+ HP at level 60. More magical attack than sword, but less defence.

It's your choice really, I just listed all the advantages.

Could I possibly use BOTH sword and spear (sword for PvP and spear for PvE)????? KD+Stab skills and passive for sword and Soul Spear+Ghost Spear+Passive from Heuksal????

Well, if you use Spear. Carry the Shield in your inventory. And use the "Fire shield series"-buff for better magical defense. And if your knocked down by a sword/blader, switch to the shield when lying on the ground - and maybe youll block the stab.

Sure you can.

A good combo when you reach maxed level, is KD, double stab, stab, [after they get up] switch to spear and ghost spear. I have seen nukers use this tactic and kill strength builds in one sitting. Most nukers don't know the real potential of KD/stabs in pvp.

Stick with focusing on leveling your fire and lightning masteries. Only worry about your weapons masteries if you have enough (aka A LOT) of SP to worry about it.

As for the equipment, should I wear protector or armor for lv 32+???? Garment is out of the question although may people use it.

I would recommend garment for when you can easily 1shot mobs with your nukes. But only if the spawnrate was lowish and you wouldn't get mobbed. Also wear garment when you are grinding on magicl based mobs (eg: red/devil eyes at 41/42)

Protector would be the best choice in my opinion. Fair physical defence while its easy on the speed and mp useage reduction.

I would recommend going out to fight with all the different types and seeing which one you like best.

i have roughly the same nuke build..I'm curious i'm lvl 43 about to hit 44...i have 43 fire 39 lite and 20 heuksal....If i wanted to build a 9 gap to lvl 52 is there some place i can safely farm at 52 with 43 lvl skills? HP are sooooo low....

should I use chain spear for the nuker???? I was thinking it would give me more imbue damage (the same as 5-hit combo for S&S nukers)????

I would definitely not suggest the chain attack for a nuker. At any rate, I would suggest wearing protector, possibly armor.

As for you question, koa, you could farm at the Ishades.
